    摘要: A mixture of fluorescently-excitable amino acid derivatives suitable for use in quantitative amino acid analysis is provided in which primary amino acids are present as derivatives of a first reagent and secondary amino acids are present as derivatives of a second different reagent. The process for preparing the mixture comprises the steps of derivatization of the primary amino acids of an amino acid sample with ortho-phthalaldehyde (OPA) and of derivatization of the secondary amino acids of the sample with fluorenylmethylchloroformate (FMOC) in the presence of acetonitrile. The mixture can be obtained automatically and is highly suitable for fast analysis by reversed-phase liquid chromatography.

After the laser sintering or laser melting process, the component is subjected to a fracture splitting process, in which the component is fractured into at least two fractional parts along a fracture line and then the at least two fractional parts are connected to one another at the sites of fracture to form the component. The fracture line contacts or passes through the opening or the hollow space.

    摘要: An apparatus for reducing the load on a weft thread being inserted into a loom shed reduces the necessary number of weft thread monitors or stop motion devices functioning as thread tension sensors while still ensuring a reliable tension measurement, especially in a gripper loom in which a plurality of different weft thread types are to be respectively inserted into the loom shed using a weft thread selector and insertion arrangement. A single first thread tension sensor (14) is provided to be common to all of the weft thread types (6) that are to be inserted. The sensor (14) is arranged in a first arrangement plane at a location downstream of the weft thread selector and change arrangement (8). A single second thread tension sensor (19) is arranged in a second arrangement plane at a location between the first thread tension sensor (14) and the weft thread selector and change arrangement (8). Thus, only two thread tension sensors are used, in series, for the total of all weft thread types that are to be inserted into the loom shed, and therefore all the tension values are directly comparable with one another.

    摘要: In a weft thread brake mechanism with a controllable braking effect, a controllable braking force is applied to a weft thread as it passes between two lamellar braking members, such as leaf spring members. A servomotor, preferably a stepper motor, rotatingly drives an eccentric brake effect control member that cooperates with at least one of the lamellar brake members. Through the eccentric rotation of the braking effect control member, it presses to a varying degree against at least one of the lamellar braking members. Thus, a varying braking force is applied by the lamellar braking members to the weft thread. A programmable computer control provides control signals for the stepper motor.

    摘要: The tension of a weft thread in a loom is controlled during particular time phases within the weft supply, weft presentation, weft seizing, and insertion, including the initial phase of entering into the loom shed. Additionally, the weft thread tension may be controlled during the duration of the actual insertion phase when the weft thread travels through the shed. For this purpose a twin nozzle or two separate nozzles are arranged downstream of the weft supply and preferably upstream of a weft brake or weft stop motion. The double nozzle can supply pneumatic impulses in the insertion direction (ID) and/or in the opposite direction (OD). The operation of the double nozzle is controlled by a program that determines the timing and the duration of the pneumatic impulses applied to the weft thread in the insertion direction and/or in the opposite direction. Thus, the twin nozzle is capable of applying a tension for the weft thread during critical phases in the weft supply presentation and insertion for gently handling the weft thread.

    摘要: A weft thread or weft threads are selected from a plurality of weft thread supply spools in a shuttleless loom for presenting the selected weft thread or weft threads to the gripper of the gripper rod. In order to equip each loom with the required number of weft selector and needle moving devices and in order to make these devices exchangeable, the individual selector and needle moving devices are constructed as insert cassettes which are exchangeable against one another as desired. For this purpose the exchangeable cassette which is equipped with an electric drive motor and preferably also with a control for the electric drive motor, is combined with a carrier and guide mechanism for supporting the cassette and guiding the respective weft presenting needle. Each cassette comprises at least one weft presenting needle and each cassette is individually connected in a releasable manner to the carrier and guide mechanism and independently of all other cassettes.
