A method, apparatus, and computer program instructions for automatically performing test builds of natural language translated files for a software product. When a translated file is received from a translator, a test build of the translated file is executed in a translation test build environment, wherein the translation test build environment is separate from the main software product build environment. A determination is made as to whether the test build of the translated file is successful. If the test build is successful, the translated file is submitted to the main software product build environment. If the test build is unsuccessful, a log file containing error information is sent to the translator to allow the translator to fix compile errors identified in the translated file and resubmit the translated file to the translation test build environment.

A preprocessor places unique identifiers on each output phrase of a source code to produce a modified source code. Modified source code is exercised by test cases to produce a body of output images that are each added to digest files. A preprocessor character recognizes the images. This permits graphical representations of each instance of the output phrases to be traced to the source file from which the graphical representations originate. The output phrase and unique identifiers are added as text to each digest file so as to ease later search and retrieval of the image. A translator uses a matchtool to locate and display specific contextual images while editing the source file wherein the image is discovered by matching an output phrase in the source file with the text of a digest file.

A method of processing a plurality of digital data files including at least one group of medium data files for constituting a sequence of events or activities of a time interval for secure delivery of the digital data files, the method comprising the steps of: (a) processing a plurality of digital data files so as to generate a file identification value for each digital data file, wherein the file identification value of a digital data file is an one-way arithmetic value characteristic of the data content of the digital data file; (b) processing the file identification values to generate an authentication root value, the authentication root value being an one-way arithmetic value characteristic of the plurality of file identification values; (c) encrypting the root value; and (d) grouping the encrypted authentication root value and a selected plurality of digital data files with a set of authentication information for delivery, wherein the set of authentication information is derived from the file identification values and is for deriving a test root value when in combination with said selected plurality of digital data files, and wherein the test root value is for comparison with the authentication root value to detect tampering of said selected plurality of data files.
