摘要:
A multi-position electrical connector for a robotic tool changer includes a bracket mountable to a robotic tool changer master or tool module, a coupling interface in a fixed position with respect to the bracket, and a cable interface moveable to a plurality of positions with respect to the bracket. Both the coupling interface and the cable interface include a plurality of electrical contacts, which are electrically connected. In one embodiment, the cable interface is disposed at substantially 90 degrees to the coupling interface, and is rotatable about an axis of the coupling interface. The cable interface may be fixed in one of a plurality of positions around the coupling interface. In one embodiment, a selected position is fixed by mating a retention member on one of the cable interface and the bracket, with a recess on the other of the cable interface and the bracket.

Methods and systems are provided for controlling elements of computing systems including operating systems, software applications and different versions of software applications to better facilitate cross-application and cross-version collaboration of files. Elements within a computing system, for example, operating systems, applications, or particular versions of an application, are reconfigured at application start time or document start time so that individual elements may interact with existing files of an otherwise different computing system or such that individual elements may generate or edit files targeted at otherwise different computing systems.

An application has its own namespace or namespaces and a schema, or a set of schemas, which can be used by applications to generate and/or validate documents in a unique format. The application can uniquely define the format (and properties) of styles of data in a document such that the document is represented in a native format. The document can be stored externally as a markup language file in accordance with the schema of the application. When the format is stored in a markup language, other applications can validate the document stored in accordance with the native format. The other applications can represent the styles in accordance to the degree to which they are aware of the unique properties of the application used to generate the document.

Regions within editable objects of electronic document can be defined such that specific editing permissions can be granted to specific users for specific regions. The regions can be expressed in a ML format such that a variety of applications that consume ML content can operate in accordance with the granted permissions.

A draft control system and method can provide for automated control of the air drafting for heating systems. In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, an exemplary draft control system comprises at least one draft plate and a draft plate control system. Draft plate control system can comprise a control unit, one or more input devices, and one or more actuation systems. During operation, the control unit can receive a signal from an input device and use the actuation system to automatically adjust the amount of air intake by controlling movement of one or more draft plates.

A method and system are provided for using icons to show the validity of markup language elements applicable to a computer-generated document. A user of a computer-generated document such as a word processing document attaches a schema to the document setting out the rules and procedures with which the document may be annotated with markup language elements for structuring portions of the document. According to one aspect of the invention, the user attaches an Extensible Markup Language (XML) schema to the document for setting the data types, data structures and XML elements rules for the document so that the user may annotate the document with XML structure. When the user begins to annotate the document with a desired markup language structure, such as XML structure, an application pane is displayed to the user to provide the user with assistance in applying allowable XML elements at allowable locations and in allowable order and number. A series of icons are presented alongside the presented elements in the application pane to indicate the level of validity of a given element based on the editing context and location in the document.

An extensible markup language-based schema for representing a mathematical expression in documents. The schema can include a single math tag indicative of text and operators of the mathematical expression. The schema can also include format attributes indicative of one of a plurality of formats to be applied to the mathematical expression.

In one embodiment, a method for printing includes selecting a nozzle for printing a pixel, determining a time since the nozzle was last actuated, and, if the time since the nozzle was last actuated exceeds a threshold time, then, before actuating the nozzle to print the pixel, actuating the nozzle a number of actuations corresponding to the time since the nozzle was last actuated.
