摘要： A method and apparatus for providing distributed communication routing includes a route computation engine operably coupled to a plurality of forwarding engines within a logically distributed router. Registration information is provided to the route computation processor by the forwarding engines, and the forwarding engines are recognized and identified by the route computation processor in response. The registration information includes information regarding interfaces or connections amongst the forwarding engines and external routers and other external destinations. The route computation processor provides control information to at least one of the plurality of forwarding engines for distributed routing maintenance and/or specific data forwarding operations. Distributed routing maintenance includes monitoring the status of the forwarding engines, while specific data forwarding operations include tunneling messages relayed to and from the route computation processor by the forwarding engines and packet formatting information that controls how the format of packets forwarded by a forwarding engine.

摘要： A computer communications network comprises a plurality of interconnected ATM switches forming a WAN or LAN area network over which ATM cells are transmitted, and a plurality of user devices including LAN interface adapters for connection to one or more to local area networks (LANs). An interface device connects at least some of the respective ATM switches to the LAN interface adapters. The interface adapts the ATM cells for transport over the LANS. The user devices can thus communicate through the LAN interface adapters transparently with the wide area network.

摘要： An adjustable produce display rack is described which includes a planar base having a first end, a second end, and an upwardly projecting front rail at the first end. At least two intermediate supports are provided. Each of the intermediate supports has a first end, a second end, a bottom and a top. The first end is angled toward the second end at an upward angle extending from the bottom toward the top. The intermediate supports are locked to the planar base in a selected position relative to the first end and the second end of the planar base. An upper support member is pivotally mounted to each of the at least two intermediate supports. The upper support member has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is angled at an angle compatible with the first end of the intermediate support such that the first portion of the upper support overlies the first end of the intermediate support. The first portion of the upper support is telescopically extendable relative to the first end of the intermediate support upon pivotal movement of the upper support relative to the intermediate support. The upper support is locked in a selected pivotal position relative to the intermediate support.
