Abstract: A detection apparatus includes a sensor, a detection circuit, and a light source configured to emit light in a first color, a second color, and a third color. The detection circuit acquires a first output, a second output, and a third output that are outputs of the sensor corresponding to a period when the light in the first color is emitted, a period when the light in the second color is emitted, and a period when the light in the third color is emitted, respectively. The detection circuit adjusts at least two or more of the first, second, and third outputs based on adjustment coefficients derived so as to equalize a fourth output, a fifth output, and a sixth output. The fourth, fifth, and sixth outputs are outputs obtained when the sensor is directly irradiated with the light in the first, second, and third colors from the light source, respectively.

Abstract: A method for inspecting a semiconductor device in which each of a plurality of reflective elements includes a liquid crystal. The method includes the steps of acquiring a first capacitance corresponding to each of the plurality of reflective elements after inputting a first voltage signal to the semiconductor device so that a dielectric constant of the liquid crystal is in a predetermined first state in each of the plurality of reflective elements, acquiring a second capacitance corresponding to each of the plurality of reflective elements after inputting a second voltage signal to the semiconductor device so that a dielectric constant of the liquid crystal is in a predetermined second state in each of the plurality of reflective elements, calculating a difference value between the first capacitance and the second capacitance, and determining whether the difference value is less than or equal to a predetermined threshold value.

Abstract: A technology which can improve the accuracy of touch detection is proposed. A display device includes: a touch panel including plural drive electrodes and plural detection electrodes; plural peripheral wirings; and plural switching elements each of which is disposed between a detection electrode and the corresponding peripheral wiring and that is connected to the detection electrode and the corresponding peripheral electrode. The touch panel executes detection by means of a mutual detection scheme using the plural drive electrodes and the plural detection electrodes. In a condition in which a predefined voltage is applied to the peripheral wirings when the plural switching elements are in an off-state, the voltages of the drive electrodes are changed, and subsequently a condition in which the changes of the voltages of the drive electrodes can be detected from the peripheral wirings is set, and the switching elements are turned from off to on.

Abstract: According to an aspect, a detection device includes: sensors each of which includes a photodiode configured to detect light and is configured to generate an output corresponding to a degree of the detected light; and a detection circuit configured to receive the output of each sensor. The photodiode has an anode to which a reference potential is applied and a cathode to which a reset potential higher than the reference potential is applied. Each sensor is configured to generate the output corresponding to the degree of the light detected by the photodiode after the reset potential is applied to the cathode and before the reset potential is applied to the cathode again. The outputs of the sensors are received in a first period and a second period after the first period. The reference potential and the reset potential in the first period are different from those in the second period.

Abstract: According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a planar detection device including photodetection elements; point light sources provided correspondingly to the photodetection elements; a light directivity control element disposed between the point light sources and the photodetection elements; and a detection circuit electrically coupled to the photodetection elements. Each point light source corresponds to at least one of the photodetection elements. In a light amount setting mode, the point light sources are lit up at different light amounts; the photodetection elements output sensor values corresponding to the different light amounts; the sensor values that are detected are compared with a preset target sensor value; and light amounts for detection of the point light sources are set. In a detection mode, the point light sources are lit up at the set light amounts for detection; and the photodetection elements output sensor values corresponding to the light amounts for detection.
