    摘要： The present invention relates to a method and system for inspecting a session in a packet data network, wherein a set-up message is selectively routed to a predetermined server node (4001, 4002) and processed there. A media resource function (3021, 3022) is controlled based on the processing so as to bind incoming and outgoing data streams in order to relay the session via the media resource function. Thereby, a mechanism for providing charging, filtering and logging services for sessions, such as peer-to-peer chat sessions, is provided without requiring any new network entity or modification of existing network specifications.

    摘要： The present invention relates to a method, system, client device, conference server device and computer program product of controlling media composition in a multi-party conversation involving a central control point (50). At a participant (10) of said multi-party conversation, a scope information (SoM) which specifies members of said multi-party conversation is selected and added to a session modifying request. The session modifying request is transmitted to the central control point (50) which initiates a media modification at the specified members in response to the scope information (SoM). Thereby, a client can control whether media modification is applied to the whole conference, selected participants or only between the client itself and the conference server.

    摘要： A method, apparatus, and computer program product are provided for page-mode messaging. The method includes determining whether a page-mode message exceeds a predetermined size limit. The method further includes sending, using a terminal, the page-mode message using a session-mode messaging mechanism when it is determined that the page-mode message exceeds the predetermined size limit, with an indication indicating that a session-mode is for the page-mode message. Further, the method includes applying, using the terminal, a session description protocol to initiate a session in the session-mode messaging mechanism, and adding, using the terminal, the indication to a header of a session initiation message.
