The electrical tracks having embrittlement grooves which destroy the connections made by the electrical tracks upon removal of the electronic card from the substantially planer surface to which the electronic card is attached. The electronic card is suited for applications in the identification and automatic detection of objects and in particular, stolen vehicles.

Disclosed is a process for the synthesizing of polysilsesquioxane, including a first step for the hydrolysis, in the presence of ether, of trichlorosilane with the general formula RSiCl.sub.3 where R represents an organic radical, notably an alkyl, an aryl, a vinyl or an allyl, said process further including the following steps;2nd step: the dissolving of the solid product obtained at the end of the first step in an anhydrous ketonic solvent and the addition of a base, the reaction taking place under heat, a solid product being obtained after evaporation and drying;3rd step: the dissolving of the solid product obtained at the end of the second step in an anyhydrous ketone, the addition of a chain-terminating agent, the reaction taking place under heat and the solution obtained being filtered, evaporated and dried to give the desired polysilsesquioxane,wherein the second step is repeated several times.

Cholesteric liquid crystals of the so-called reentrant mesogenic type obtained by mixing a substance such as a cholesterol ester having molecules of the "chiral" type with a liquid crystal of the so-called reentrant nematic type such as a substance corresponding to the general formula: ##STR1## where R is an alkyl or alkoxy or alkylcarbonate group with:R'=H or CH.sub.3and X is an organic radical such that CH=N, CH=CH, C.tbd.C or COO.The use of a liquid crystal in accordance with the invention serves to obtain a temperature-detecting device in which, in contrast to conventional cholesteric devices, the reflected light changes from blue to red when the temperature rises.
