摘要:
For MIG welding, either in a spray mode without current modulation or in a pulsed mode, of aluminum and aluminum alloys, with the use of a gas shield for at least part of the welding zone, the gas shield is a gas mixture consisting, by volume, of from 0.01% to 1.80% oxygen and from 15% to 98.2% helium, and any balance being argon.
摘要:
The process includes shielding of at least part of the welding zone with a gas mixture consisting of 1.2 to 1.70% oxygen and the balance being argon.
摘要:
The invention relates to a gas mixture containing hydrogen, carbon dioxide and argon in the following volume proportions: 0.4 to 2% hydrogen, 0.3 to 2% carbon dioxide and argon for the remainder (up to 100%). The invention also relates to a method of braze welding galvanised metal parts in which brazing is performed between the parts to be assembled by means of fusion, using at least one electric arc, one metal filler wire and a brazing gas shield which is formed by one such ternary gas mixture.
摘要:
A method of brazing galvanized metal parts such as those used for motor vehicle elements or container components. The parts are joined together to create a brazed joint by using at least one electric arc, a metal filler wire, and a gas shield. The gas shield contains hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and argon.

Process for the MIG welding of nickel and nickel alloys, with the use of a gas shield for at least part of the welding zone, in which process the gas shield is a gas mixture containing from 0.05% to 0.5% CO2, the balance being argon. Advantageously, the gas mixture also contains, by volume, from 15 to 50% helium, preferably from 17% to 30% helium, or from 0.1% to 10% hydrogen by volume and preferably from 1% to 7% hydrogen by volume.
摘要:
The invention relates to an arc welding method. According to the invention, a filler wire is subjected to a cyclical mechanical movement, whereby it approaches and, subsequently, moves away from the pieces to be welded in an alternating manner. In this way, a short circuit is created between the end of said filler wire and the pieces to be assembled and weld metal is deposited thereon, so that a weld joint is gradually produced between said pieces. The inventive method is characterised in that the pieces to be assembled are the constituent elements of a motor vehicle. For example, the elements to be assembled can be selected from the group comprising: the body shell, the rocker panel, tailored blanks, side members, wheel housings, under-seat crossmembers, foot reinforcements, dashboard crossmembers, front crossmembers, shock absorbers and the engine cradle. Preferably, the thickness of the elements to be welded is between 0.5 and 2 mm and, optionally, said elements can comprise a zinc coating on one of the surfaces thereof.

Hybrid welding process using a laser beam and an electric arc to produce a weld bead. The electric arc is established between an electrode connected to a first pole of a current source and at least one workpiece to be welded and connected to a second pole of a current source via at least one electrically conducting earth contactor in contact with the workpiece to be welded. To obtain effective welding, a contact is made between the earth contactor and the workpiece to be welded laterally and/or upstream of the point of impingement of the electric arc on the workpiece(s) to be welded, and considering the direction of formation of the welded joint, so as to balance the forces associated with the induced electromagnetic field acting on the puddle of liquid metal.

A wire-guide/nozzle assembly for an electric arc welding torch, with at least one nozzle for delivering gas and at least one wire-guide system for guiding at least one consumable wire, distinguished in that the downstream end of the wire-guide system runs into the nozzle. The peripheral wall of the nozzle has at least one cut-out through which the wire-guide system passes. The wire-guide system is fastened to the nozzle. A TIG welding torch utilizing such a wire-guide/nozzle assembly.
