摘要： The present invention is directed to an improved apparatus for processing dough intermediates that are less developed, softer or which have enhanced water or moisture levels. More specifically, the present invention relates to the use of an improved dough transport module, that has one or more protuberances extending generally perpendicularly from a supporting surface which supports the dough intermediate for a sufficient interval of time during processing so as to eliminate the waste and loss of dough intermediates prior to processing or packaging steps.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for dough handling includes a first conveyor for receiving dough and having a first discharge end for discharging dough. A second conveyor receives dough and is positioned along side the first conveyor to convey in the direction of the first conveyor. The second conveyor has a second discharge end that is spaced-apart from the first discharge end. The first and second conveyors can be used to separate dough pieces from an elongated dough product such as a roll and/or phase individual dough pieces to provide them in succession for packaging or further processing.

摘要： A method and system for packaging products provides for initially, vertically stacking a plurality of products during production in a transfer canister, simultaneously removing a stack of the products from the transfer canister, reorienting the stack and horizontally loading the stack into a final product package cavity. The invention has applicability to a wide range of products, particularly food products, such as refrigerated dough products. In one embodiment of the invention, the product package cavity is thermoformed as part as an overall horizontal form, fill and seal system.

The cutting openings preferably correspond to a plurality of individual pieces of food product to be divided from the sheet of food product.

摘要： A dough cutting and packing apparatus for cutting a sheet of dough into dough pieces and transferring the dough pieces to containers. A cutting unit is defined by a plurality of cutting plates having dough retaining openings. The sheet of dough is partially sheeted into the dough retaining openings by an initial compressor roll which is spaced from an upper surface of the cutting plates. A terminal compressor roll contacts the upper surface of the cutting plates, and acts to sheet a remaining portion of the dough sheet into the dough retaining openings to divide the dough sheet into a plurality of dough pieces retained in the openings. The initial compressor roll is driven at a peripheral rate of speed that exceeds an instantaneous liner rate of speed of the cutting unit. The terminal compressor roll is frictionally driven via contact with the cutting plates such that a peripheral rate of speed of the terminal compressor matches the linear rate of speed of the cutting unit. A packing mechanism transfers the dough pieces from the cutting unit to the containers as the containers are moved relative to the packing mechanism by a plurality of flighted augers.

摘要： A method for packaging products utilizes a horizontal form, fill and seal (HFFS) system in combination with a vertical loading system. The packaging method includes creating product receiving cavities in a lower film, directly vertically stacking products in the product receiving cavities and then sealing the vertically stacked products in the cavities with an upper film to form product pouches. In one embodiment of the invention, a product fill station of the HFFS system is advantageously defined by a shaped packer including a stamping unit for directly vertically stacking the products. In another embodiment, a vertical lift and feed mechanism is employed to vertically stack the products in the receiving cavities.

摘要： An apparatus for loading dough into a container through a container opening includes a support frame having a cam rail. An endless band is rotatable on the support frame and includes a plurality of tilting spoon assemblies mounted to the band. Each tilting spoon assembly includes a support member, a spoon, a hinge, and a push bar. The hinge joins an end of the spoon to the support member. The push bar selectively tilts the spoon from a first position to a second position relative to the support member. The push bar has a first end joined to the spoon, positioned between the hinge and a second end of the spoon remote from the first end. A second end of the push bar engages the cam rail. The cam rail includes bends to cause selective displacement of the push bar to tilt the spoon from the first position to the second position.
