摘要： A hood covers an internal combustion engine on the rear of a grass mowing machine. The hood has a top surface with a plurality of air intake openings recessed below the top surface, and an integral air duct. The integral air duct extends over the engine between the air intake openings and an air inlet side of the radiator and/or oil cooler adjacent the rear of the grass mowing machine. The air intake openings closest to the air inlet side of the radiator and/or oil cooler are dimensioned to limit the air intake velocity and prevent buildup of debris on screens or grilles over the openings.

摘要： The windshield of a snowmobile has a rubber molding or gasket fitted over the lower edge thereof and received in a complementary groove formed in the snowmobile cowling. The bottom of the groove is provided with a plurality of spaced slots and the windshield includes tabs which extend through the rubber molding and through the slots. A spring metal clip is attached to the bottom of each of the tabs through means of a screw and each clip includes leg portions which are biasedly engaged with the bottom of the cowling when the screw is installed to thereby urge the windshield downwardly so as to firmly seat the rubber molding in the groove.
