The second nozzle being rotatable within the passage for alignment and misalignment with the first nozzle. The second nozzle having a plurality of gear teeth engageable with the actuator, which is adjustable. A method of mixing refrigerant fluid while passing through the distributor.

摘要: A service valve for a refrigerant system comprising a valve body and a system port. The valve body has at least one fluid passage integrated therein including a longitudinal bore. An orifice is located at one end of the bore. An annular protrusion axially extends from the valve body and is symmetrical about the orifice. A valve seat generally surrounds the orifice. The system port includes a valve stem having a first end, a second end, and a bore integrated within. The stem is axially movable within the annular protrusion between at least a first position in which the orifice is closed when the valve stem first end sealingly abuts the valve seat and a second position in which the orifice is open when the valve stem first end is offset from the valve seat. The valve stem is restricted from moving further away from the valve body by the annular protrusion.

摘要: A coupling assembly for use in connecting fluid lines having a unitary female body and a male coupling portion. The female body includes at least two passageways having frangible diaphragms. The male coupling portion includes at least two male coupling halves having frangible diaphragms. Cutting devices are positioned in the passageways of the female body. As the male coupling portion is moved toward the female body by a bracket and fastening device, the diaphragms are ruptured to allow fluid flow between the lines.

摘要: An improved drain coupling of the type having a male coupling half including a body having an inner body end and an outer body end. A passage axially extends through the body intersecting the body ends. A valve is axially reciprocally mounted within the passage between a closed position and an open position for regulating flow of fluid through the passage. The improvement includes, among other things, a valve having a first valve end adjacent to the inner body end and a second valve end adjacent to the outer body end. The valve has a central portion positioned at a center of the valve adjacent to the second valve end.

摘要: An electrically conductive hose cutting clip has at least one end tab that is shaped to provide a cutting edge for penetration of the inner layer(s) of a multiple layer fluid conveyance hose when it is clipped onto a fluid connector and the hose is installed on the fluid connector by forcing it onto the connector. The cutting action by the cutting clip provides for a relatively low resistance electrical connection between an electrically conductive layer of the hose and the fluid connector. This can be used to provide a signal path from a sensing element on or in the hose to a system electronic component.

摘要: A valve for controlling fluid flow is provided. The valve includes an actuating stem for controlling the flow of fluid through the valve, a valve member with a positioning formation and an opening for permitting fluid flow, a valve body portion, and at least one insert or compressor for retaining the valve member within the valve body portion. The valve body portion is comprised of a formable material—such as a metal—that is formed about the valve member in connection with an applied load. The valve body portion further includes a first open end with a first diameter; a second open end with a second diameter that is sufficiently large enough to permit insertion of the valve member; a stem opening for receiving the actuation stem; and an internal member-receiving portion for receiving the valve member in proximity with the stem opening. The actuation stem is in communication with the positioning formation of the valve member and the flow of fluid through the valve is controlled by the orientation of the valve member within the internal member-receiving portion. A method for forming a valve is also disclosed.

摘要: A female coupling member includes a body portion, a slideable sleeve positioned in the body portion and an axially extending stem valve sealingly engageable with the sleeve. Axial movement of the sleeve relative to the stem valve opens the female coupling member to the flow of fluid. The stem valve is provided with a cavity sized to receive a protruding nose of a male member to be attached thereto. The slideable sleeve and the stem valve are designed to receive the male coupling member including its flat insertion end and protruding nose with minimal air inclusion and minimal fluid loss upon disengagement.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a spraying apparatus for spraying a liquid onto a surface. The spraying apparatus includes a tank configured to store a liquid, a neck extending from the tank and defining an opening, a pump assembly including a collar removably attached to the neck, a pump configured to draw the liquid from the tank when actuated, and a housing defining a cavity therethrough to provide a carrying handle. A wand, separate from the tank, includes a body and a nozzle assembly, having a hub rotatably attached to the body and a plurality of nozzles circumferentially arranged around the hub and extending radially outwardly therefrom. An elongate hose, having a first end and a second end, interconnects the tank and the wand by attaching to the pump assembly of the tank at the first end and the body of the wand at the second end.
