The accessory has a trigger button and an image capture system adapted to capture an image in response to actuation of the trigger button. The accessory also has a body adapted to be detachably connectable to the image capture device with the body including, a holding unit for receiving a removable metadata source having metadata stored therein; a communication interface for communicating with the removable metadata source; and a trigger sensor for generating a trigger signal when the trigger button of said image capture device is depressed. The communication interface obtains metadata from the removable metadata source in response to the trigger signal and stores the metadata in a metadata memory so that the metadata is associated with the captured image.

摘要： Scanner modules are provided for use with a docking station having a docking station interface adapted to receive an interface of an imaging device; the scanner module has an image-scanning unit adapted to form an image of a medium; a controller to controllably cause the image scanning unit to capture an image of the medium and to store the captured image as image data in a memory; and a scanner interface adapted so that it can be received by the docking station interface. The controller is connected to the scanner interface and adapted to send image data from the memory through the docking station interface in a manner that emulates the manner in which the imaging device sends image data through the docking station interface. Some embodiments of the scanner module can be manually or automatically moved to scan mediums.

摘要： A virtual shopper devices and methods are provided for presenting to a user an image display of the user wearing an item. The virtual shopper device has an image display, a sensor for sensing signals from a tracking memory associated with the item, a memory device containing personal profile information for the user including at least one dataset composed of user fit data and user image data and a user input device for at least activating a function to present an image of the user wearing the item. A controller is also provided and is adapted to retrieve item fit data and item image data for the item from a database, to generate a display image simulating the appearance of the item as worn by the user, said display image being generated based upon the item fit data, the item image data, the user fit data and the user image data and to cause the image display to present the generated image.

摘要： Imaging systems and methods for operating an imaging system capable of forming images based upon adjustable image capture settings and a viewing frame in which evaluation images of a scene are observable are provided. In accordance with the method, an initial viewing distance is detected from the viewing frame to an anatomical feature of a user; determining an initial image capture setting. A change in the viewing distance is detected and a revised image capture setting is determined based upon an extent of the change in the change in the viewing distance. The image capture setting is adjusted based upon the revised image capture setting.

The digital image capture device has a digital image capture device comprising: a housing (20); a digital image capture system (22); a biometric reader (70) adapted to sense biometric data of a user; a wireless communication circuit (54) adapted to transmit wireless signals to a remote database and to receive authorization signals from the remote database; a processor (26) adapted to control and enable operation of the digital image capture system (22), the wireless communication circuit (54) and the biometric reader (70), wherein the processor (26): is adapted to cause biometric data to be read from a user, and wirelessly transmitted to a remote database so that the remote database can compare the sensed biometric data to stored biometric data and will transmit an authorization signal when the sensed biometric data corresponds to stored biometric data, said processor further being adapted to determine a set of authorized actions for a user of the digital image capture device based upon an authorization signal transmitted by the remote database; with said processor further being adapted to execute actions as requested by the user when the requested actions are within the set of authorized actions.

摘要： An image capture method is provided. In accordance with the method, an image of the scene is captured and affective information is collected a capture. The scene image and affective information are transmitted to an image receiver. An imaging system is also provided having an image capture system adapted to capture an image of a scene and a memory which stores the captured image. A set of sensors is adapted to collect affective signals from the user at capture. A processor is adapted to determine affective information based upon the affective signals and to associate affective information with the captured image. A transmitter sends the scene image and the affective information to a receiver.
