    摘要： A pelvic Implant system is provided. The system can include one or more implant devices (11) to treat incontinence and other pelvic floor disorders or dysfunctions. The system can include one or more implant devices having an extension portion (12) (e.g., mesh), one or more tip portions (14,16) (e.g., self-fixating tips), and one or more intermediate anchors (18a, 18b) disposed along the extension portion, intermediate the one or more tip portions. The intermediate anchors are shaped and sized for engagement with the internal pelvic tissue, with the extension portion in turn providing support for the corresponding pelvic tissue.

    摘要： Apparatus and methods are provided for treating urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and other pelvic defects or dysfunctions, in both males and females, using one or more lateral implants to reinforce the supportive tissue of the urethra. The implants are configured to engage and pull (e.g., pull up) pelvic tissue to cause the lateral sub-urethral tissue, such as the endopelvic fascia, to tighten and provide slack reduction for improved support. As such, certain embodiments of the implants can be utilized to eliminate the need for mesh or other supportive structures under the urethra that is common with other incontinence slings.

    摘要： Systems for providing support within the pelvic region of a patient. The systems can include an elongated incontinence sling having a central support portion adapted to be positioned to support any one of the urethra or anus, and a sling tension adjustment mechanism operatively attached to the elongated sling. The sling tension adjustment mechanism can include a plunger device adapted for traversal within an interior of the housing, and an inflatable bladder provided within the housing to selectively control traversal of the plunger. Alternatively, the adjustment mechanism can include a bobbin device within the housing and one or more retention devices to selectively restrict unwinding of a suture from the bobbin device.
