    摘要: An array substrate includes first and second gate lines, a data line, a pixel electrode, a domain electrode, first, second and third switching elements, and a voltage-changing part. The domain-dividing electrode divides the first and second pixel parts into a plurality of areas. The first, second and third switching elements are controlled by a first gate signal applied from the first gate line. The first, second and third switching elements apply a data signal received from the data line to the first and second pixel parts and the domain-dividing electrode, respectively. The voltage-changing part is controlled by a second gate signal applied from the second gate line. The voltage-changing part increases a voltage level of the domain-dividing electrode and decreases a voltage level of the second pixel part.

    摘要: An image display apparatus is provided that can display one or both of 2D imagery and 3D imagery in respective but randomly selectable display areas of the apparatus. The apparatus a display panel, a driving circuit part, a polarization switch panel and a lens. The driving circuit part processes received frame image data representing two-dimensional (2D) imagery and three-dimensional (3D) imagery to thus provide the display panel with the processed frame image. The polarization switch panel is disposed above the display panel. The polarization switch panel is switched into a first polarization mode in correspondence with 2D imagery being displayed by the display panel and it is switched into a second polarization mode in correspondence with 3D imagery being displayed by the display panel. The lens is reacts differently to light rays having the effect of the first polarization mode imparted to them and to light rays having the effect of the second polarization mode imparted to them. More specifically, the lens strongly refracts light rays that are imparted with the second polarization mode (3D imagery light) and weakly or not at all refracts light rays that are imparted with the first polarization mode (2D imagery light). Thus, both the 2D image and the 3D image may be displayed on one screen.

    摘要: A stereoscopic image display device includes a display panel, a temporal division plate and a lenticular lens. The display panel includes a gate line, a data line, and a unit pixel of a horizontal pixel structure in which a long side is parallel with the first direction and a short side is parallel with the second direction. The display panel displays a 2D image based on an image control signal. The temporal division plate includes a plurality of shutters disposed on the display panel extending in the second direction. The temporal division plate opens and closes m shutters corresponding to each unit pixel, in a sequence, ‘m’ being a natural number no less than 2). The lenticular lens is disposed on the temporal division plate to convert the 2D image passing the temporal division plate into a 3D image.

    摘要: In a display apparatus, a first display substrate includes a common electrode to which a common voltage is applied. A second display substrate facing the first display substrate includes a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode. The first and second pixel electrodes formed in one pixel region are spaced apart from and insulated from each other. A first data voltage having a first polarity with reference to the common voltage is applied to the first pixel electrode, and a second data voltage having a second polarity different from the first polarity with reference to the common voltage is applied to the second pixel electrode. Thus, a fringe field is formed between the first and second display substrates and a lateral field is formed in the second display substrate, thereby improving a transmittance and a response speed of the display apparatus.

    摘要: This invention relates to a transmission gearbox family to provide five, six, seven, eight and nine speed ratios with a reverse speed ratio and a neutral condition in motor vehicles. The invention arranges a plurality of gearwheels in parallel shaft systems such that minimum number of gearwheels is obtained by either combination of clutches with synchronizers for transmission gearboxes with a torque converter and direct clutch to clutch gearboxes without a torque converter, or synchronizers for automated manual transmission gearboxes. For total number of the gearwheels involving in forward driving, five-speed transmission gearboxes have eight gearwheels, six-speed transmission gearboxes have minimum of nine gearwheels, seven-speed transmission gearboxes have minimum of nine gearwheels, eight-speed transmission gearboxes have minimum of nine gearwheels and nine-speed transmission gearboxes have minimum of nine gearwheels, respectively. Each family member has three parallel shafts with either selectively or continuously interconnected with the gearwheels through the engaged single or multiple torque transmitting mechanisms. The direct clutch-to-clutch gearboxes without a torque converter and automated manual gearboxes have a mechanical damper and a main clutch.
