摘要： An electrical connector assembly (100) for connecting memory modules (200) to a printed circuit board (PCB) (300), includes a first and second connectors (10, 20) respectively mounted on two opposite surfaces of the PCB. The first and second connectors each defines an insulative housing (11/21) and a plurality of contacts retained in the housing. Each of the housing defines a front face and an inserted slot (13/23) running through the front face along a longitudinal direction. Each of the contacts defines an elastic arm partly projecting into the inserted slot and a soldering leg connecting to the PCB. The housing of the first connector provides a cavity (172) at a bottom portion thereof. A part of the second connector projects beyond the top surface of the PCB, and the soldering legs of the second connector run through the opposite surfaces of the PCB and enter into the cavity.

摘要： A card edge connector assembly includes a first connector comprising a first insulative housing defining a first central slot expanding along a transverse direction and a pair of first side arms disposed at opposite ends thereof. A plurality of first terminals are arranged at opposite sides of the first central slot. A second connector stacked with the first connector includes a second insulative housing defining a second central slot expanding along the transverse direction and a pair of second side arms disposed at opposite ends thereof. An ejecting device has a first and a second ejecting portions thereon for respectively projecting into the first and second central slots, therefore the ejecting device can release two cards at one time.

摘要： A card edge connector includes an elongated housing having an upper face, a lower face and a mating groove defined therebetween and extending along a longitudinal direction. A plurality of terminal grooves are respectively defined between the upper face and lower face and in communication with the mating groove. A plurality of contacts are respectively received in the terminal grooves. Each contact includes a body portion, at least one retaining portion, a contacting portion and a soldering portion. The at least one retaining portion forms at least one barb thereon and is inserted into the terminal groove with the at least one barb interfering with an inner wall of the terminal groove until the at least one barb falls into a through hole defined on the inner wall of the terminal groove.

摘要： A compact electrical connector assembly comprises a printed circuit board having a predetermined thickness and defining a first face and a second face opposite to the first face. A low profile electrical connector sits on the first face of the printed circuit board and comprises an insulating housing defining a longitudinal central slot opened forwardly with first contacts and second contacts respectively retained at opposite sides of the central slot. A card is inserted into the central slot at an angle with regard to the printed circuit board, and then rotated from the second face to the first face of the printed circuit board until reaching to a secured position which is substantially overlapped with the printed circuit board.

摘要： An edge connector assembly includes a PCB defining a first face, a second face opposite to the first face thereof and a notch therein, a daughter board defining a front mating portion and a rear retaining portion and an edge connector mounted in the notch of the PCB. The connector includes an insulating housing defining a longitudinal slot for receiving the front mating portion of the daughter board and a mounting face thereof to abut against the first face of the PCB, a plurality of contacts defining contacting portions extending into the slot. The daughter board is inserted into slot from the second face of the PCB in a slant direction and then pivots about the front mating portion and is retained in the notch.
