Abstract: A device for displaying images having variable colors comprises a substrate; a light-transmissive coloring layer painted or laminated on the substrate, the coloring layer comprising colorants of different colors and having a rear side in contact with the substrate and a varnished front side; a display layer comprising a silvering material directly plated on the varnished front side of the coloring layer, the display layer comprising a display pattern forming a visible displayed image, the silvering material comprising a metal, a metalloid, or an oxide thereof to form a one-way-mirror; an illuminator configured and positioned to illuminate the coloring layer from the rear side of the coloring layer. When the coloring layer is unilluminated by the illuminator, the unilluminated coloring layer is hidden behind the one-way-mirror. When the coloring layer is illuminated by the illuminator, the illuminated coloring layer visibly colorizes the displayed image through the one-way-mirror.

Abstract: An article comprising natural stone and method for forming the article are provided. A counter-relief is formed at a back of the natural stone. A light-transmitting reinforcing material is bonded to the back of the natural stone at the counter-relief to reinforce the natural stone at the counter-relief. A front of the natural stone is carved to form a relief at the front. The relief is positioned opposite to the counter-relief. The thickness of the natural stone between the relief and the counter-relief is reduced by the carving to allow light to transmit through the natural stone from the back to the front to illuminate the relief.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of building decoration. Disclosed is a luminous stone product including a natural stone panel, a light source, and a light-guide board. The natural stone panel includes at least one cavity and at least one light transmitting side; any of the cavities is correspondingly provided at the back side of the at least one light transmitting side, and any of the cavities extends to an edge of the natural stone panel and forms at least one opening; the light source is provided at the opening of the natural stone panel; the light-guide board is placed in the cavity and acquires light from the light source, and a gap between the light-guide board and the inner wall of the cavity is filled with a curable transparent adhesive resin. According to the present invention, the light-guide board is utilized to guide light, such that a point light source is changed into a planar light source which can emit light uniformly.
