    摘要: The invention provides methods method for access selection in a Multi-Access Network offering a plurality of Access Technologies (AT). The device may comprises a Multi Access Management entity (MAM) and a plurality of Generic Link Layer Entities (GLL) associated to a plurality of Accesses (A) according to said plurality of Access Technologies (AT). The access selection comprises an Access determination and an Access configuration. In a first step a Generic Link Layer Entity (GLL) determines one or more Generic Performance Metrics (GPM) corresponding to one or more configurations of the Access (A). The Generic Link Layer Entity (GLL) sends the determined one or more Generic Performance Metrics (GPM) corresponding to one or more configurations of the access (A) to the Multi Access Management entity (MAM). The Multi Access Management entity (MAM) determines from received Generic Performance Metrics (GPM), which Access (A) offers a configuration (GPM), which is suited for an application/bearer requirements. Then, said Multi Access Management entity (MAM) sends the determined configuration to the Generic Link Layer Entity (GLL) associated to the determined Access (A). The determined Generic Link Layer Entity (GLL) configures the Access (A) based on the determined configuration received from the Multi Access Management entity (MAM). Furthermore, the invention relates to corresponding devices, modules and software.

    摘要: The invention provides methods method for access selection in a Multi-Access Network offering a plurality of Access Technologies (AT). The device may comprises a Multi Access Management entity (MAM) and a plurality of Generic Link Layer Entities (GLL) associated to a plurality of Accesses (A) according to said plurality of Access Technologies (AT). The access selection comprises an Access determination and an Access configuration. The Multi Access Management entity (MAM) determines from received Generic Performance Metrics (GPM), which Access (A) offers a configuration (GPM), which is suited for an application/bearer requirements. Then, said Multi Access Management entity (MAM) sends the determined configuration to the Generic Link Layer Entity (GLL) associated to the determined Access (A). The determined Generic Link Layer Entity (GLL) configures the Access (A) based on the determined configuration received from the Multi Access Management entity (MAM). According to the present invention, cooperation between different radio access systems is executed to advertise one radio access system in another. After receipt of a secure advertisement from a control unit of the advertising radio access system, a broadcasting unit of the receiving radio access system broadcasts advertisement information in relation to the secure advertisement in the communication network. Therefore, according to the present invention, a user terminal may at any time receive broadcasted advertisement information while establishing a trusted relationship with advertiser.

    摘要: A user network (e.g., mobile phone) is described herein that uses one or more access systems to establish a communications session with a remote communications network. In one embodiment, the user network has a processor and a memory with instructions stored therein which are accessible and processable by the processor to facilitate the following steps: (a) maintaining a detected set which contains access resource (s) that are associated with possible access connection (s) which could be used to access the remote communications network; (b) maintaining a candidate set which contains access resource (s) and logical connection (s) that are associated with the possible access connection (s) which could be used as communication bearer (s) to the remote communications network; and (c) maintaining an active set which contains a particular logical connection which is associated with one of the access connections that is currently being used as a communication bearer in an established communication session with the remote communications network.

    摘要: The invention is directed towards determining an access node (14, 16) for a terminal (18) in a network (10) having one or more access nodes capable of providing access to the terminal based on one or more access technologies. Access node is selected through determining whether at least one network parameter provided by a network node (12, 14, 16) is required as input for the access node selection for the terminal. If it is determined that the at least one network parameter is required as input, the network parameter is obtained and an access node possibly together with access type for the terminal is selected at least based on said network parameter.
