摘要: A system (10) for relaxation, the system (10) comprising: electrodes (15) worn by a user to measure the electrocardiogram (ECG) of the user; a processor (18) to process the ECG to remove noise and analyse the ECG signal in the time and frequency domains, and compute an index of stress (33) from the processed ECG; and a multimedia device (14) to provide real-time biofeedback by communicating the index of stress (33) to the user together with a relaxation video (31) to cause the user to relax.

摘要: A method for predicting blood glucose level of a person includes performing on the person a near-infrared spectral scan of a body part at a first group of wavelengths and at a second group of wavelengths, determining a first group of near-infrared absorbance values for the first group of wavelengths and a second group of near-infrared absorbance values for the second group of wavelengths, determining a first difference for the first group of near-infrared absorbance values and a second difference for the second group of near-infrared absorbance values, and calculating a blood glucose level for the person using the first and second differences.

摘要: The present invention relates to an acupressure pen and methods of acupressure treatment, wherein said pen is capable of determining the optimal range for treatment on a particular acupoint, and recalling such optimal range during subsequent treatments. Through the use of a grid system, infrared communicator, and microcontroller, the pen is capable of being set and storing results in a matrix.

摘要: The present invention relates to an anti-sleep apnea device including two electrodes and a pulse oximeter, adapted to be disposed on the user's wrist for releasing electrical pulses to an acupoint of the user, and a method of monitoring and treating sleep-apnea, whereby monitoring occurs via a pulse oximeter and treatment occurs by providing electrical stimulation to specific acupoint on the user.
