摘要: A method for controlling a plurality of environmental factors that trigger a negative emotional state is provided. The method may include analyzing a plurality of user data when a user experiences a plurality of various environmental factors. The method may also include determining an emotional state experienced by the user when each of the plurality of various environmental factors is present based on the plurality of user data. The method may include receiving a plurality of calendar information associated with a user account. The method may also include identifying an upcoming event based on the plurality of calendar information. The method may include identifying an environmental factor within the plurality of various environmental factors is present at the upcoming event. The method may also include, in response to determining the environmental factor causes the user to experience a negative emotional state, executing an accommodation method based on the environmental factor.

摘要: A device for obtaining physiological information including plethysmographs of a medical patient and detecting a condition of pneumonia. The portable pneumonia screening device may include one or more sensors configured to obtain physiological information. The pneumonia screener may provide for methods of selecting and interfaces to assist selecting a patient's age group. The screener may match a selected age group from a set of programmed threshold level of oxygen saturation, respiratory, pulse rate, or other physiological parameters to assist pneumonia diagnosis. The pneumonia screener may provide one or more visual and/or audio stimuli, such as an animation, sound or music. The visual and/or audio stimuli may indicate initialization, diagnostic in progress, completion, or other events or progress of events. In some embodiments, the visual and/or auditory stimuli may be used to soothe or intrigue the patient such that patient agitation is reduced during the screening process.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for modulation of the central nervous system, and more particularly for modulation of brain oscillatory activity and the brain networks that give rise to it. The methods involve using one or more non-invasive stimuli, either alone or in combination, to increase, decrease, or otherwise modulate neural oscillations in the brain. Also described are methods and devices for detecting sub-optimal or pathological neural oscillatory patterns, developing treatment protocols to modify the neural oscillations in a desired manner, introducing a non-invasive stimulus or stimuli through one or more sensory pathways to treat the conditions, and adjusting the treatment protocol to improve the therapeutic effect of the stimulus or stimuli.

摘要: Methods for provoking a physiological response in a subject comprising: receiving from sensors an orientation of an HMD of the subject and a parameter indicative of a physiological state of the subject, determining a video signal representing an avatar of the subject in a virtual reality scenario to be displayed on the head mounted display taking into account the orientation of the head mounted display, wherein the video signal includes an indication of a physiological state of the avatar, and sending the video signal to the head mounted display for visualization, optionally accompanied by a suitable audio signal. During a first period, the indication of the physiological state of the avatar substantially corresponds to the measured physiological state, and during a second period the indication of the physiological state of the avatar does not correspond to the measured physiological state. Related computer program and computing systems are also disclosed.

摘要: A pressure relief apparatus with brain entrainment includes a resonant wave generating module and a bio-signal measuring unit. The resonant wave generating module includes multiple resonant devices, divided into multiple regions. Each of the resonant regions can respectively generate a resonant wave being changeable or turned off. The bio-signal measuring unit at least measures an energy of autonomic sympathetic nerve system LH and an energy of autonomic parasympathetic nerve system HF. According to a current one of a set of present conditions, a set of feedback control signals is output to the resonant wave generating module to modulate the resonant devices.

摘要: Methods, computer systems, and computer readable media are provided for transitioning a clinical care room from a first scene to a second scene in order to facilitate completion of a medication-administration process. The first scene in the clinical care room is presented where the clinical care room has one or more zones. The first scene is associated with a first group of setting for components within the one or more zones. An input indicating that the medication-administration process has been initiated is received. Incident to receiving the input, the second scene is provided. The second scene is associated with a second group of settings for the components. The second group of settings is optimized to facilitate completion medication-administration process.

摘要: A method for reducing discomfort when viewing virtual reality (VR) content for use in head mounted displays (HMDs). The method includes accessing a model that identifies a plurality of learned patterns associated with the generation of corresponding baseline VR content that is likely to cause discomfort. The method includes processing a first application to generate data associated with simulated user interactions with first VR content of the first application. The method includes comparing the data to the model to identify a pattern in the data matching at least one of the learned patterns, such that the identified pattern is likely to cause discomfort. The method includes identifying a zone in the first application corresponding to identified pattern. The method includes applying a discomfort reduction filter effect within the zone for purposes of reducing potential discomfort in a user.

摘要: Methods, systems and devices that provide a therapeutic solution to alleviate the pain and discomfort of phantom limb syndrome are disclosed. The methods and systems of the present invention generally comprise capturing data from recording devices operably coupled to a processor and/or computing device, the recording devices configured to capture data associated with intact portions of a missing limb, one or more intact limbs and/or portions of the environment surrounding the missing limb, identifying the data captured, generating a three-dimensional virtual image of the missing limb and the surrounding environment from the data captured, and displaying the three-dimensional virtual image and the portions of the surrounding environment to the amputee such that the missing limb appears intact. The present invention advantageously provides a therapeutic and more immediate solution to alleviate the pain and discomfort from phantom limb syndrome.
