摘要: Using component-level test data to reduce system test. By modeling a system, sensitivity analysis reveals critical components and parameters of those components required to meet system performance parameters. Critical components are tested for these parameters, and these measurements associated with the components. Systems may be assembled which are modeled to meet the system performance parameters based on the model and the measured parameters. Systems may be assembled and calibration coefficients derived and applied from the model and the measured parameters.

摘要: A wireless data communications link connects a wireless device to a test station. The test station transmits command and control parameters to the wireless device using the wireless data communications link. The command and control parameters place the wireless device in a test mode and test the quality and operations of a radio frequency (RF) link established between the wireless device and the test station. The wireless data communications link is also used to transmit test and control parameters from the wireless device to the test station.

摘要: A method to display a virtual object includes receiving virtual-object data representing a virtual object, a first rendering of the virtual object being displayed on a display screen during a first interval. The method also includes receiving display-screen data indicating a physical size, position, and orientation of the display screen, and receiving display-device data indicating a position and orientation of a near-eye display device. The method includes composing a second, 3D rendering of the virtual object based on the virtual-object data and on the relative position and orientation of the display screen versus the near-eye display device, as indicated by the display-screen and display-device data, and, displaying the second rendering binocularly on the near-eye display device during a subsequent second interval, such that the second rendering coincides with the first rendering in an augmented field of view of the user.

摘要: A visual display for use by a user for navigation and obstacle avoidance. A typical user employs the invention in operating a vehicle. The user may be located in the vehicle but will more typically be remotely located. The display may include a conventional video feed. A visual arch metaphor is also provided. If used in conjunction with a video feed, the arch metaphor preferably extends from the left side of the video, over the top of the video, and on to the right side of the video. A ranging device mounted on the vehicle collects ranging data around the vehicle. As an example, the ranging device might collect 180 degrees of ranging data extending from the vehicle's left side, across the vehicle's front, and over to the vehicle's right side. The ranging data is then correlated to a predefined color scale. The ranging data is also correlated to a position on the arch metaphor.

摘要: An apparatus and method for synchronized content display across a plurality of devices are disclosed herein. Content specified at a first device is deployed to the rest of the plurality of devices that are of diverse device types to each other. The first device instructs the other devices to render the content at each of the respective devices according to the respective device's content viewer and configuration. The first device also instructs the other devices to achieve a certain setting or state pertaining to true rendering of the content depending on the type of content to be rendered.
