摘要： An ionographic imaging member containing a conductive layer and a uniform and continuous dielectric imaging layer free of voids, the imaging layer having a dielectric constant of from about 1.5 to about 40 and a thickness of at least about 45 micrometers, the thickness divided by the dielectric constant having a value of from about 30 to about 60 micrometers. This member may be used in an ionographic imaging process.

摘要： An electrophotographic imaging member is disclosed including a support substrate having a two layered electrically conductive ground plane layer comprising a layer comprising zirconium over a layer comprising titanium a hole blocking layer, an adhesive layer comprising a copolyester film forming resin, an intermediate layer over and in contact with the adhesive layer, the intermediate layer comprising a carbazole polymer, a charge generation layer comprising a perylene or a phthalocyanine, and a hole transport layer, said hole transport layer being substantially non-absorbing in the spectral region at which the charge generation layer generates and injects photogenerated holes but being capable of supporting the injection of photogenerated holes from said charge generation layer and transporting said holes through said charge transport layer.

摘要： A method and system for informing a user about characteristics of a marking material cartridge in a printing system. The system calculates a number of pixels being rendered in a present job and calculates an amount of marking material used to render the present job. The system also calculates a total area coverage to date for the marking material cartridge. Form this information an expected number of pages that the marking material cartridge can render is determined and displayed. The system determines a date when marking material in the marking material cartridge will be depleted and displays the date. The system also calculates an average coverage amount for a page being presently rendered. It can also calculate per page costs of the page currently being printed, and the pages printed to date. Additionally, the cost benefits of draft or other reduced print quality modes can be calculated and displayed. The method and system is equally applicable to black and white or color printing.

摘要： A transfer sheet capable of applying a colored pattern to a final support material through the application of heat and pressure. The transfer sheet includes a carrier sheet having a colored pattern printed on a surface thereof. A digitally controlled color printer is used to print a colored pattern on the surface of the carrier sheet. A layer of white colored material is printed over at least the color pattern with a digitally controlled color printer. A layer of glue is deposited over the layer of white colored material. The layer of glue may also be printed over the white colored material by the digitally controlled color printer, or by a separate device, if required.
