    摘要： A printer system for producing color prints includes: (a) three light sources, each generating a light beam of different wavelengths; (b) three modulators, each of the modulators modulating intensity of each of the light beams by image data, to provide three modulated light beams; (c) a beam combiner combining the three modulated light beams into a single light beam; (d) a single set of beam shaping optics shaping this single light beam into a shaped light beam having different vergences and waist locations in the page and line directions, the vergences and the waist locations being substantially the same in each of the three wavelengths; (e) a light deflector deflecting the shaped light beam to provide a deflected beam, and performing a scanning function; (f) an f-.theta. lens focusing the deflected light beam onto an associated image surface.

    摘要： An imaging device for generating a digital image of a scene comprises an image sensor, an optic, and one or more actuators. The image sensor comprises an array of photosensors. The optic is operative to at least partially direct light rays from the scene onto this image sensor so that an image of the scene is created on the image sensor. The one or more actuators are operative to move at least one of the image sensor and the optic while the digital image is generated so that the incoming light rays from the scene are distributed over the photosensors of the image sensor in such a way as to limit spatial frequencies in the image of the scene created on the image sensor to values below a Nyquist frequency of the image sensor.

    摘要： A loom is provided with a closed path for the weft yarn from a yarn package to a picking nozzle. A first yarn guiding passage extends from a yarn clamp to a weft yarn storage device while a second yarn guiding passage extends from the storage device to the picking nozzle. Sensors are disposed along the path of the yarn in order to sense the presence or absence of a thread for searching/rethreading purposes. The second yarn guiding passage is articulated to the storage device and the picking nozzle in order to follow movements of the picking nozzles relative to a reed.

    摘要： Apparatus for turning the end of a weft yarn into a warp shed for creation of a selvedge, the apparatus including a movable guide which in a first position is located outside the warp sheet to receive the end of a weft yarn after weft insertion, and which is movable to a second position located within the warp shed whereby the guide serves to separate the end of the weft yarn from the warp threads. A fluid jet nozzle is associated with the guide and is positioned to direct a flow of fluid along the guide, after the guide is moved inwardly to the second position, for carrying the end of the weft yarn into the warp shed.

    摘要： A weft yarn metering device for a fluid loom includes a rotatable spool about which weft yarn is wrapped. The spool has an axis of rotation extending transverse to the direction of weft yarn insertion and preferably continuously rotates. A weft yarn guide is movable between a first position and a second position. The weft yarn guide is aligned with the direction of weft insertion in the first position in order to enable weft yarn to be dispensed from the spool and is aligned with the axis of rotation of the spool in the second position to enable wrapping of yarn about the spool.
