    摘要: A method for manufacturing an anti-scatter grid including arranging a plurality of elongated metal ribbons of radio-opaque material so that each ribbon is substantially straight and lies in a plane that passes through a focal point of the grid, and placing the elongated ribbons under tension. A first sheet of radioluscent material is secured to top edges of the ribbons, and a second sheet of radioluscent material is secured to bottom edges of the ribbons. The ribbons are arranged such that the first and second radioluscent sheets are substantially parallel. Then the tension is removed from the ribbons.

    摘要: A laser energy soft tissue aspiration device comprises a cannula defining an aspiration lumen and having one or more aspiration inlet ports at a distal end. A laser energy transmission guide delivers laser energy from the proximal end of the cannula to the distal end which can be inserted to a tissue removal site within a patient. Reciprocating longitudinal motion of the cannula along with suction provided within the lumen can cause soft tissue to be suctioned into the lumen for removal. Laser energy contained within the lumen and directed by an optical delivery system can ablate soft tissue pulled within the lumen. The optical delivery system can further protect the terminal point of the laser energy transmission guide, from which, the laser energy can be delivered.

The spine member and the first and second side panels have at least one source of light connected thereto. The first side panel and the second side panel can be rotated relative to the spine member into an open position to allow the sources of light emit light towards a target area. The first side panel and the second side panel can be rotated in a second direction relative to the spine member to arrange the device in a closed position for storage of the device. The device is free standing in the open position to allow the device to be used without any external support.
