    摘要: The present disclosure provides a contact lens package containing a contact lens in a compressed state. In one exemplary embodiment, the overall internal depth of the package is less than the natural sagittal depth of the contact lens. Different single-use contact lens package shapes and configurations may be used. In some embodiments, a spring disc is included in the packages to help present the contact lens to the user when the package is opened. The contact lens packages may be adhered or clipped to a card or other carrier sheet, and may be housed in a number of different secondary packages.

    摘要: Isopropylbenzene derivatives having the general formula: ##STR1## in which: R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group having up to 4 carbon atoms,X.sup..crclbar. represents COO.sup..crclbar. or SO.sub.3.sup..crclbar., andR.sub.f represents a fluorinated organic radical.The compounds may be applied to surfaces liable to be or become negatively charged to suppress spark discharges from such surfaces. Those compounds in which at least two of R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are alkyl, are particularly useful in the top coat of photographic films to eliminate marks caused by spark discharges.

    摘要: A process for forming lactose suitable for use in a pharmaceutical formulation comprises providing a plurality of lactose particles containing no more than 10% w/w of lactose particles having a volume average particle size of about 70 microns or less; milling the plurality of lactose particles to yield a plurality of milled lactose particles with an average particle size, (D50), ranging from about 50 microns to about 100 microns; and classifying the plurality of milled lactose particles into at least two fractions comprising a fine fraction and a coarse fraction wherein the fine fraction has an average particle size, (D50), ranging from about 3 microns to about 50 microns, and the coarse fraction has an average particle size, (D50), ranging from about 40 microns to about 250 microns.
