摘要： A laminated damping material comprises a layer of a thermosetting resin having vibration-damping properties as a core layer and two heat resistant films adhesive to the core layer, the core layer being sandwiched between these two heat resistant films. The damping material can be used for preparing a fiber-reinforced composite material which comprises at least one basic layer structure, outer layer/intermediate layer/core layer/intermediate layer/outer layer, the intermediate layer being formed from a heat resistant film having good adhesive properties to both outer and core layers and the core layer being formed from a thermosetting resin. The fiber-reinforced composite material exhibits high vibration-damping properties and accordingly can suitably be used, as a structural material, for the production of not only cars and equipments for leisure time amusement but also space structures such as artificial satellites and air planes.

摘要： A large scale LCD device has a plurality of LCD modules coupled together to form a single screen of the LCD panel. Each module has a plurality of top holes, bottom protrusions, left protrusions and right holes on respective sides of the module. The top hole has a longitudinal section and a transverse section for guiding the bottom protrusion in a horizontal direction for locking the bottom protrusion with the top hole. In the movement of the module for guiding the protrusion for locking operation, the left protrusions advance to the right holes to be received therein and locked with locking pins.

摘要： Disclosed is a process for producing a fluorine-containing complex salt, characterized by that, on a reaction mother liquor containing a plurality of cation species and a fluoroanion in a state that they have been dissolved in a solvent, a trigger for accelerating decomposition of the fluoroanion is allowed to act, thereby precipitating a complex salt containing a plurality of cation species and fluorine, as a solid, from the reaction mother liquor. According to this process, it is possible to produce a monodispersed fluorine-containing complex salt with uniform particle size and shape.

摘要： A sheet material transport apparatus includes a second planetary gear engaging with a transmission gear and providing planetary motion around the transmission gear. The second planetary gear is in a second separated position not capable of engaging with a first planetary gear during forward-direction rotation. The transmission gear engages with the first planetary gear and rotates in a direction that causes a second transport roller to rotate in the forward rotation direction, and positioned to engage with the first planetary gear that is positioned in a first engaging position during reverse rotation. A load is placed on the transmission gear by the second transport roller. The transmission gear rotates in the opposite direction to the forward-direction rotation. The second planetary gear applies a force on the first planetary gear in the direction that separates the first planetary gear from the transmission gear due to rotation.

摘要： A data-storage apparatus, a data-storage method and a recording/reproducing system are provided, which effectively use the time elapsing before data is transferred to be written in a recording medium, such as disc-seeking time and disc-rotation standby time, thereby to raise the speed of transferring data. A hybrid storage apparatus has two storage areas, i.e., a disc and a nonvolatile solid-state memory. The disc and the memory have a disc cache area, a system area, and a user area each. If data is transferred from the host apparatus, it is written into the cache area of the nonvolatile solid-state memory that can be accessed at high speed for the first super cluster. While the data being so written, the head is moved to a prescribed position. Any data coming after the head is moved to this position is written into the cache area.
