    摘要: An optical disc device comprises a disc clamper. The disc clamper is provided with: a first member provided with a first circular disc, and with a plurality of upstanding pieces formed with predetermined spaces therebetween along a circle concentric to the first circular disc, the upstanding pieces having an engaging claw at the distal end thereof; and a second member provided with a second circular disc in which are formed a plurality of through-holes into which the plurality of upstanding pieces are inserted, and with a plurality of peripheral walls formed with predetermined spaces therebetween along a circle concentric to the second circular disc. Rotation in a state where the upstanding pieces have been inserted into the through-holes through the spaces between the peripheral walls causes the engaging claws to engage the peripheral walls.

    摘要: In a disk device, a disk is held between a flap and a conveyance roller conveying the disk into a loader chassis. The loader chassis includes a lid panel including a spring seat to which a holddown spring that presses the flap toward the conveyance roller is attached. The spring seat includes an L-shaped frame including a support panel (formed at an edge of an opening,) and a support shaft panel perpendicularly bent from an end of the support panel, the L-shaped frame being pulled to rise toward the flap by bending the support panel. A sloped guide edge is formed by cutting an end side of a lid-panel-side edge of the support shaft panel including a stopper portion and a support shaft main body. A coil portion of the holddown spring is moved along the sloped guide edge to be fitted onto the support shaft main body.

    摘要: A sheet material transport apparatus includes a second planetary gear engaging with a transmission gear and providing planetary motion around the transmission gear. The second planetary gear is in a second separated position not capable of engaging with a first planetary gear during forward-direction rotation. The transmission gear engages with the first planetary gear and rotates in a direction that causes a second transport roller to rotate in the forward rotation direction, and positioned to engage with the first planetary gear that is positioned in a first engaging position during reverse rotation. A load is placed on the transmission gear by the second transport roller. The transmission gear rotates in the opposite direction to the forward-direction rotation. The second planetary gear applies a force on the first planetary gear in the direction that separates the first planetary gear from the transmission gear due to rotation.

    摘要: The invention relates to a gas for removing deposits by a gas-solid reaction. This gas includes a hypofluorite that is defined as being a compound having at least one OF group in the molecule. Various deposits can be removed by the gas, and the gas can easily be made unharmful on the global environment after the removal of the deposits, due to the use of a hypofluorite. The gas may be a cleaning gas for cleaning, for example, the inside of an apparatus for producing semiconductor devices. This cleaning gas comprises 1-100 volume % of the hypofluorite. Alternatively, the gas of the invention may be an etching gas for removing an unwanted portion of a film deposited on a substrate. The unwanted portion can be removed by this etching gas as precisely as originally designed, due to the use of a hypofluorite. The invention further relates to a method for removing a deposit by the gas. This method includes the step (a) bringing the gas into contact with the deposit, thereby to remove the deposit by a gas-solid reaction.

    摘要: In conventional magnetic disk drives where stream data are treated, seek operations are performed at unnecessarily high speeds. This put the magnetic disk drives at a disadvantage in suppressing noise, reducing power consumption, and lowering the costs of actuator components. In one embodiment of the invention, a magnetic disk drive comprises a magnetic disk medium; a magnetic head; a head actuator to move the magnetic head relative to the magnetic disk medium; and a controller configured to control the head actuator to move the magnetic head to record data to and reproduce data from the magnetic disk medium. The controller is configured to control the magnetic head to record stream data on the magnetic disk medium in such a manner that the stream data is recognizable as stream data. The controller is configured to detect a situation in which two or more stream data are to be recorded or reproduced concurrently so as to set a slower seek operation mode.
