摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a charging portion for charging an image bearing member, an exposure portion for exposing the image bearing member that has been charged to form an electrostatic latent image, a developing portion for developing the electrostatic latent image with developer, a transferring portion to which a transferring bias under constant voltage control is applied to transfer a developer image on the image bearing member onto other member, a test pattern forming portion for forming a test pattern for image control on the image bearing member by supplying developer by the developing portion to an area on the image bearing member in which charging by the charging portion is effected and exposure by said exposure portion is not effected, and a test pattern detection portion for detecting the test pattern that has been transferred to the other member by the transferring portion, wherein the value of the transferring bias upon transferring of the test pattern onto the other member is set in accordance with the surface potential of the image bearing member upon formation of the test pattern.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an image forming device for forming a toner image on an image bearing member, a transfer member for transferring the toner image from the image bearing member onto a transfer material by being supplied with a bias voltage, a bias voltage application device for applying a normal bias voltage of a polarity opposite to that of toner or a reverse bias voltage opposite in polarity to the normal bias voltage, a controller for controlling the bias voltage application device, and integral current detector for detecting an integral of an amount of a current flowing from the bias voltage application device to the transfer member. The integral current detector is capable of detecting an integral current amount of the normal bias voltage at the time of applying the normal bias voltage and an integral current amount of the reverse bias voltage at the time of applying the reverse bias voltage. The controller controls the bias voltage application device so that an absolute value of the integral current amount of the reverse bias voltage is in the range of not less than 0.2% and less than 25% of an absolute value of the integral current amount of the normal bias voltage.

A probe supporting plate is provided to a lower face side of a printed wiring board of a probe card. A plurality of probes are supported by the probe supporting plate. The probes comprise an upper contact, a lower contact, and a main body portion. An upper end portion of the upper contact protrudes toward an upper side of the probe supporting plate and contacts a terminal of the printed wiring board. A lower end portion of the lower contact protrudes toward a lower side of the probe supporting plate. On the probe supporting plate, a through-hole and a concave portion are formed to luck the probes, and the probes can be inserted and removed freely against the probe supporting plate from above.

The apparatus is operable in a collecting mode in which a voltage is applied to the primary transfer member during one full rotation of the image bearing member in a period of non-toner-image-formation such that absolute value of a current through the primary transfer member is larger than an absolute value of a current through the primary transfer member at the time of primary transfer of the toner image.
