Abstract:
A method for decreasing combustor acoustics in gas turbine engines is provided. The method includes fabricating a plurality of premixers, chamfering a trailing edge of a main swirler shroud of each premixer, coupling a respective one of the chamfered premixers to each of a plurality of combustor domes, and coupling the plurality of combustor domes to an inlet of a combustor in a circumferential arrangement such that, during operation, the chamfered edge facilitates reducing combustor acoustics.
Abstract:
A method for assembling a gas turbine engine combustor is provided. The method includes providing a heat shield defined by a perimeter. The perimeter includes a radially inner edge, a radially outer edge, an axially inner edge, an axially outer edge, and an opening that extends from an upstream side of the heat shield to a downstream side of the heat shield. The method further includes coupling the heat shield to a domeplate such that the perimeter of the heat shield is positioned a distance downstream from an edge of the heat shield defining the opening. The method additionally includes coupling at least one fuel injector to the domeplate such that a portion of the fuel injector extends through the heat shield opening.
Abstract:
A method for operating a gas turbine engine facilitates reducing an amount of emissions from a combustor. The combustor includes a mixer assembly including a pilot mixer, a main mixer, and an annular centerbody extending therebetween. The method comprises injecting at least one of fuel and airflow into the combustor through at least one swirler positioned within the pilot mixer, and injecting fuel into the combustor through at least one swirler positioned within the main mixer, such that the fuel is directed into a combustion chamber downstream from the main mixer.

Abstract:
A cooling device and a cooling coat using the cooling device includes a shell, a TEC cooling/heating module installed inside the shell, a fan and a controlling circuit. The TEC cooling/heating module comprises a TEC plate installed inside the shell, a first and a second heat conductor respectively configured on the cold face and hot face of the TEC plate; the shell is provided with an air inlet at the position corresponding to the fan; the shell is provided with an exhaust port corresponding to the second heat conductor, the end portion of the shell is provided with a cold/hot wind outlet corresponding to the first heat conductor; when the fan is running, air is sucked into the shell through the air inlet, and is blown to the first and second heat conductor.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an integrated optical assembly structure with an isolator and a processing method therefor. The structure comprises a front metal cover, a ceramic sleeve, a pressing block, a ceramic plug core and an isolator chip, wherein the ceramic sleeve is disposed inside the front metal cover; one end of the ceramic plug core is disposed inside the ceramic sleeve and the other end thereof is fixed in the pressing block; the pressing block has a plug core positioning hole and a chip accommodating hole; the chip accommodating hole has at least two positioning corners; and the isolator chip having magnetism itself is installed in the chip accommodating hole and is positioned and fixed via the positioning corners.
Abstract:
A method for controlling congestion of traffic, by one of one or more User Terminals (UTs), traversing an intermediate node, the method comprising: associating one or more traffic flows of a priority to one of the one or more UTs; detecting a traffic congestion for the priority; performing Random Early Detection (RED) congestion control for the priority to relieve the traffic congestion; selecting, for the priority, a User Terminal (UT) with a perceived delay greater than a high threshold; and controlling, by priority, the traffic flows associated with the selected UT.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and device for transmitting parameters and a method and device for generating parameters. The method for transmitting parameters comprises: a transmission node determines a first set of parameters for the transmission node to generate at least one user equipment specific reference signal; and the transmission node sends the first set of parameters to one or more transmission nodes adjacent to the transmission node. Through the disclosure, interference between user equipment specific reference signals of transmission nodes is reduced.
Abstract:
A method for disposing of fly ash. After the fly ash has been processed using the method contained herein, this fly ash can be disposed of more easily because of the reduced toxicity of the final product. Also, this converted fly ash may be recycled and used as a material or aggregate in concrete. The method includes the treatment of dioxins found in fly ash found in waste incinerator flue from waste incineration power plants which includes collecting the fly ash, putting the fly ash into a hermetic device and treating the fly ash through various heating steps and thereafter lowering an environmental temperature in the hermetic heating device, which results in a significant reduction of dioxins in the fly ash.
Abstract:
A system and method for flashing one or more electronic devices. A flashing program executed by a server is accessed from a computing device. The one or more electronic devices are received for communication with the computing device. The one or more electronic devices are identified in response to receiving the one or more electronic devices. The one or more electronic devices are flashed to remove the customer private information through the computing device as instructed through the server.
