摘要: A processing apparatus for removing dioxin in fly ash from domestic waste incineration by using a ball mill includes a grinder as well as a feeding body and a discharging body that are separately arranged at both ends of the grinder. In the present disclosure, an induction coil is electrified by arranging a heating body to generate an alternating magnetic field such that eddies generate on an inner wall of a grinding cylinder in the induction coil, the grinding cylinder is heated by the energy of these eddies, making a grinding ball thermally desorb and decompose a harmful component, that is, dioxin in the fly ash through a high temperature when grinding the fly ash from the domestic waste incineration since a temperature in the grinding cylinder reaches 300-500° C. during grinding.

摘要: A method of using select Schiff base compounds for chemical agent detoxification. The method including applying a compound to the contaminated substrate. The compound includes an imine having at least one Schiff base nitrogen and an alkyl substituent or an aryl substituent having an electron acceptor. The at least one Schiff base nitrogen is spaced away from the electron acceptor by a distance ranging from about 200 pm to about 1000 pm. The substrate and the compound are dried. The at least one Schiff base nitrogen of the compound promotes a nucleophilic attack on an electrophilic site of the toxic chemical agent.

摘要: A two step process for the destruction of a precursor material using a steam plasma in a three zone reactor wherein the precursor material is hydrolyzed as a first step in the high temperature zone of the reactor, followed by a second step of medium temperature oxidation of the reactant stream in the combustion zone of the reactor where combustion oxygen or air is injected and immediate quenching of the resulting gas stream to avoid the formation of unwanted by-products. A related apparatus includes a non transferred direct current steam plasma torch, an externally cooled three zone steam plasma reactor means for introducing the precursor material into the plasma plume of the plasma torch, means for introducing the combustion air or oxygen into the combustion zone, means for exiting the reactant mixture from the reactor and means for quenching the reactant mixture located at the exit end of the reactor.

摘要: The present invention relates to the field of applied and environmental microorganism and agriculture. Disclosed are a thifensulfuron hydrolase gene tsmE and uses thereof. The thifensulfuron hydrolase gene tsmE has a nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO. 1, full length of 1194 bp, and G+C content of 51.09%, and encodes 398 amino acids with an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO. 2. The thifensulfuron hydrolase TsmE provided by the present invention can degrade completely 100 mg/L thifensulfuron within 1 hour into the herbicidally inactive product thiophenesulfonic acid; in addition, the TsmE also degrade completely 100 mg/L haloxyfop-R-methyl within 1 hour. Therefore, the thifensulfuron hydrolase gene tsmE is useful in construction of thifensulfuron-resistant transgenic crops and bioremediation of thifensulfuron or haloxyfop-R-methyl-contaminated environments.

摘要: Hydrogen peroxide is vaporized (20) and mixed (30) with ammonia gas in a ratio between 1:1 and 1:0.0001. The peroxide and ammonia vapor mixture are conveyed to a treatment area (10) to neutralize V-type, H-type, or G-type chemical agents, pathogens, biotoxins, spores, prions, and the lip-,e. The ammonia provides the primary deactivating agent for G-type agents with the peroxide acting as an accelerator. The peroxide acts as the primary agent for deactivating V-type and H-type agents, pathogens, biotoxins, spores, and prions. The ammonia acts as an accelerator in at least some of these peroxide deactivation reactions.
