    摘要: A variable capacity wobble plate type compressor having a non-rotatory wobble plate supported on a magnetic material support member to non-rotatively wobble to move compressing pistons in cylinder bores, a steel drive shaft driven by a drive source via a solenoid-operated clutch and causing the non-rotative wobble of the wobble plate at a given angle of inclination that is changed to vary the capacity of the compressor, and a capacity detecting unit provided with a permanent magnet attached to an outer periphery of the wobble plate, a magnetic sensor fixedly attached to the crankcase of the outer casing, for sensing an approach and departure of the permanent magnet of the wobble plate. The magnetic sensor generates electric signals indicating the approach and departure of the permanent magnet of the wobble plate, and a binary circuit electrically connected to the magnetic sensor converts the electric signals of the magnetic sensor into electric binary signals by which the capacity of the compressor is determined. The capacity detecting unit is also provided with an arrangement wherein a magnetic flux delivered from the permanent magnet flows in a direction opposite to that of a magnetic flux leaking from the solenoid-operated clutch through the drive shaft and the support member to prevent erroneous electric binary signals when the permanent magnet attached to the wobble plate is close to the magnetic sensor.

    摘要: A plurality of pistons are provided in the associated cylinder bores arranged around the rotary shaft. Each piston reciprocates in relation to the rotation of the rotary shaft to execute suction, compression and discharge of the refrigerant gas. A valve chamber is disposed in the vicinity of the cylinder bore. A plurality of ports are arranged to communicate the valve chamber to the associated cylinder bores. The valve chamber has a rotary valve which rotates in relation to the reciprocating motion of the pistons. A suction passage is formed in the rotary valve to be sequentially communicated with each port in synchronism with the rotation of the rotary valve in order to introduce the refrigerant gas into each cylinder bore. A seal zone is included in the rotary valve, which sequentially blocks each port in synchronism with the rotation of the rotary valve. A groove is defined in the rotary valve, which is capable of guiding the refrigerant gas entering between the valve chamber and the rotary valve.

The compressor further includes a rotary valve for allowing the residual part of the compressed fluid to escape from the cylinder bore into another cylinder bore after the suction stroke is executed in the former cylinder bore over a given short period of time.

    摘要: A variable displacement swash plate type compressor comprises a suction chamber, a discharge chamber and a crank chamber. A flow rate control valve mechanism is provided along a refrigerant supply passage, which connects the discharge chamber to the crank chamber. The flow rate control valve mechanism is provided with a discharge pressure chamber and an intermediate chamber. A valve hole is provided between the discharge pressure chamber and the intermediate chamber, to permit both chambers to communicate with each other. A pressure sensitive member is provided in the intermediate chamber to separate the intermediate chamber into a first and a second pressure sensitive chambers. The first pressure sensitive chamber communicates with the discharge pressure chamber via the valve hole. The second pressure sensitive chamber communicates with either the crank chamber or the suction chamber. The pressure sensitive member is displaceable as a function of the pressure difference between the first and second pressure sensitive chambers. A restriction permits the first pressure sensitive chamber and the crank chamber to communicate with each other. A valve body is coupled to the pressure sensitive member to be displaceable in synchrony with the action of the pressure sensitive member, and regulates the opening of the valve hole according to the displacement. A return member biases the valve body and the pressure sensitive member to a valve open position when the pressure in the discharge chamber becomes almost zero.

The partition walls may be formed integrally with a cylinder head of the compressor in such a manner that the partition walls extend centripetally from an inner wall surface of the cylinder head defining the discharge chamber. The flows of refrigerant gas discharged from the two adjacent discharge ports which are open will not interfere with each other but will be guided independently and centripetally along the partition walls in the discharge chamber toward the tops of the partition walls, and then toward an opening that leads to an outer discharge conduit.

The piston stroke is adjusted according to the tilt angle of the wobble plate which is varied by the magnitude of the inner pressure of the crank case. The first passage connects a suction chamber to the crank case for transferring the pressure of the crank case to the suction chamber. The second passage connects the crank case to the discharge chamber for transferring the pressure of the discharge chamber to the crank case via a restriction when the difference between the pressures and within the discharge chamber and the crank case is in excess of the predetermined value.
