摘要: A variable displacement compressor comprising a cylinder block having a plurality of cylinder bores. The cylinder block has an extension which extends from an outer periphery of an end surface of the cylinder block which faces a swash plate. The extension has an extension surface which forms a part of a bore surface of each cylinder bore and first and second wall surfaces which extend continuously from opposite ends of the extension surface in a circumferential direction of the extension surface. A part of each extension surface which is connected to the first wall surface which is located on a preceding side of rotation of the swash plate corresponds to a high-load area which is locally subjected to loads from a single-headed piston during a compression stroke. The high-load area has a chamfered region which is formed into a curved surface by chamfering.

摘要: A swash plate type variable displacement compressor includes a cylinder block defining a cylinder bore. A housing is fixed to the cylinder block and defines a crank chamber. A drive shaft is rotatably supported by the housing and the cylinder block. A swash plate is supported by the drive shaft in the crank chamber and is inclinable with respect to the axis of the drive shaft. A piston is accommodated in the cylinder bore so as to define a compression chamber in the cylinder bore and is coupled to the swash plate. A control mechanism includes a bleed passage for controlling the pressure in the crank chamber. The compressor is formed such that lubricating oil in the crank chamber is discharged into at least one of the suction chamber, the discharge chamber and the compression chamber while the inclination angle of the swash plate is substantially a maximum inclination angle.

摘要: In a piston type compressor, a piston is respectively accommodated in a plurality of cylinder bores arranged around a rotary shaft. A rotary valve has a suction guiding passage for introducing gas from a suction pressure region into a compression chamber when in communication therebetween. A suction timing control passage is formed in the rotary valve and is constantly in communication with the suction pressure region at first end, the suction timing control passage precedes the suction guiding passage communicating with the compression chamber at second end. A suction timing control valve is arranged in the control passage, having a valve body which opens and closes the control passage in response to difference between force resulting from pressure on a side of the suction pressure region to open the valve body and force resulting from pressure on a side of the compression chamber to close the valve body.

A first rod (89) extends through a first guide hole (88) to couple a bellows (87) to a valve body (74). A second rod (96) extends through a second guide hole (95) to couple a movable iron core (93) to the valve body (74). Tapered surfaces (89b, 96b) are formed on the outer surfaces of the first and second rods (89, 96). The space-between each tapered surface (89b 96b) and the inner surface (88a, 95a) of the corresponding guide hole (88, 95) is wider in the vicinity of a high pressure zone (73, 90) than in the vicinity of a low pressure zone (84, 91).

摘要: A compressor includes a compressing mechanism for compressing refrigerant gas and an oil separator for separating the oil from the gas. The separated oil is used to lubricate the compressor. The compressor has a discharge passage to permit refrigerant gas to flow out of the compressor, a recess located in the discharge passage, a plug press fitted in the recess and a supply passage for returning the separated oil to the compressor. The plug and the recess define a separation chamber having a circular cross-section and an annular chamber. The separation chamber is connected with the annular chamber by an outlet passage formed in the plug. The refrigerant gas swirls along the wall of the separation chamber, which separates the oil from the gas. Since the plug is press fitted in the recess, installation of the plug is facilitated. This structure also prevents the plug from loosening.

摘要: A reciprocatory piston type compressor having a compressor body in which a low pressure suction chamber for the refrigerant before compression, a discharge chamber for the refrigerant after compression, and a plurality of axial cylinder bores receiving a corresponding number of reciprocatory pistons are provided therein, and a rotating plate suction valve capable of mechanically and forcibly opening suction ports in synchronism with the suction stroke of the reciprocatory pistons to thereby permit the refrigerant gas before compression to be drawn into the cylinder bores without time delay. A discharge valve capable of mechanically and forcibly open the discharge ports in synchronism with the discharge stroke of the pistons is also provided in the compressor body.

摘要: A plurality of pistons are provided in the associated cylinder bores arranged around the rotary shaft. Each piston reciprocates in relation to the rotation of the rotary shaft to execute suction, compression and discharge of the refrigerant gas. A valve chamber is disposed in the vicinity of the cylinder bore. A plurality of ports are arranged to communicate the valve chamber to the associated cylinder bores. The valve chamber has a rotary valve which rotates in relation to the reciprocating motion of the pistons. A suction passage is formed in the rotary valve to be sequentially communicated with each port in synchronism with the rotation of the rotary valve in order to introduce the refrigerant gas into each cylinder bore. A seal zone is included in the rotary valve, which sequentially blocks each port in synchronism with the rotation of the rotary valve. A groove is defined in the rotary valve, which is capable of guiding the refrigerant gas entering between the valve chamber and the rotary valve.
