摘要： A bistable chiral tilted-homeotropic nematic liquid crystal (BCTHN) display can be switched between the tilted-homeotropic state (TH state) and the twisted state (T state) by using dual frequency liquid crystal material. These two states can be maintained without the application of any electric field. The bistable liquid crystal display does not need high voltage to induce the flow of liquid crystal or break the anchoring energy.

摘要： A transflective liquid crystal display is provided. The electric fields of reflective regions are adjusted by arranging resistors between transmissive electrodes and reflectors or by disposing reflectors floating on the transmissive electrodes and ground electrodes so that the phase shift of liquid crystal layer in the reflective region and transmissive region can be controlled. Accordingly, the transmissive area and reflective area can be kept substantially identical in thickness and the complex process for manufacturing double gap structure is thus not required.

The stop wall defines a central receiving space and an opening. The seat body has a projecting post at the opening to divide the opening into a left split and a right split. A stem is fitted in the receiving space. The ratchet mechanism includes a left dog and a right dog respectively disposed at the left and right splits. The post is formed with a left and a right projecting section. The middle sections of the left and right dogs are formed with left and right notches in which the left and right projecting sections are respectively cooperatively inlaid. The left and right dogs swing about the projecting sections to disengage from the toothed section of the stem.

摘要： A ratchet tool includes a head and a handle, a ratchet is received in the space and two pawl sets are respectively received in two recesses defined in the inner periphery of the space. Each pawl set has a pawl and a spring which biases the pawl to be engaged with the teeth of the ratchet. Each pawl has a flat surface defined in the end having the engaging teeth. An operation member has a flange which is rotatably engaged with a groove defined in the inner periphery of the space and the flange includes a pressing surface which presses one of the flat surfaces of the two pawls by operating the operation member. By choosing one of the pawls to be engaged with the ratchet, the ratchet tool can output torque in desired direction.

摘要： An adjustable wrench including a main body, a slide block, a movable jaw and a handle. The main body is formed with a hollow section in which the slide block is transversely slidably disposed. An adjustment bolt is pivotally disposed on the slide block and engaged with the movable jaw. One side of the slide block adjacent to the handle is formed with a dented section. The handle has at least one stop member corresponding to the dented section for abutting against the slide block. When the handle is wrenched, the stop member abuts against and locate the slide block so as to fix the movable jaw. At this time, the fixed jaw and movable jaw can clamp and wrench a work piece. When the handle is wrenched in reverse direction, the stop member is disengage from the slide block, whereby the slide block and the movable jaw are pushed open by the work piece and idle. Accordingly, the adjustable wrench can one-way wrench the work piece.
