A communication system includes: a first communication device carried by a user and including a first intra-body communication unit configured to carry out data communication with the second communication device via the user's body, and a charge control unit configured to control a charge amount on the body surface; and a second communication device including a capacitive touch panel, an intra-body communication antenna, a second intra-body communication unit configured to carry out data communication with the first communication device via the body, and an intra-body communication control unit configured to perform control to increase signal strength of a signal received at the second intra-body communication unit when a measured value of the signal strength is lower than a predetermined threshold under a condition that user's touch operation on the touch panel is started.
Abstract:
An image forming device to which an external device is detachably attached, including an interface that is able to attach to the external device, a storage that stores multi-tier architecture software, and a computer that executes the multi-tier architecture software. The multi-tier architecture software includes a lower layer that includes an operating system that manages the external device, an upper layer that includes an application program that accesses the external device via the lower layer, and an intervening abstraction layer that hides implementation of the lower layer from the upper layer. The upper layer includes an access control program that is able to save path information to access the external device to the storage, and relays access from the application program to the external device by accessing the lower layer without going through the abstraction layer and accessing the external device using the path information.

An inspection device that inspects eligibility of a subject image, the inspection device including a hardware processor and a recording medium including instructions that when executed by the hardware processor cause the inspection device to: acquire the subject image and a reference image corresponding to the subject image; acquire a judgment criterion indicating a range of eligibility for differences between images; detect a difference between the subject image and the reference image; and when the difference is detected, judge eligibility of the subject image by determining whether or not the difference is included in the range indicated by the judgment criterion.

An image processing device that executes a job based on instruction operation by a user authenticated as a result of user authentication, comprises a human body communication controller that makes human body communication with a human body communication terminal held by a user through at least one human body communication antenna arranged around a device body, and an authenticating unit that performs user authentication based on user information the human body communication controller acquires from said human body communication terminal. The human body communication controller makes the human body communication terminal shift from a communication mode to a power-saving mode in response to authenticating a user by the authenticating unit.
