Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes: determining, by a computer device, initial locations of products in a repository; determining, by the computer device, an initial arrangement of the products based on the initial locations; determining, by the computer device, current locations of the products in the repository; determining, by the computer device and based on the initial locations and the current locations, that one of the products is moved away from its home location; determining, by the computer device and based on the determining the one of the products is moved away from its home location, that the one of the products is misplaced based on predefined conditions being satisfied; and generating, by the computer device, an alert based on the determining the one of the products is misplaced.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a request to activate a hyperlink of a set of hyperlinks within a webpage of a source website. The method further includes executing a script to initiate an auction that is performed by an auctioning platform, wherein the auction comprises a bidding process that is associated with a set of third-party websites. The method further includes determining at least one preferred third-party website selected from the set of third-party websites. The method further includes outputting third-party digital content representative of characteristics of the preferred third-party website that are associated with the characteristics of the activated hyperlink. The method further includes outputting the first digital content while outputting a portion of source digital content representative of characteristics of the source website.

Abstract: Assessing data center impact post disaster is provided. A data center is divided into hazard segments post disaster based on a combination of hazard type, hazard level, and hazard location identified in time series information from sensors and cameras. A financial value of each identifiable asset in the data center is calculated based on determined operational viability status, estimated soft value, and determined criticality of each identifiable asset. A time cost and an operational cost of impact assessment devices used to assess an impact on the data center and recover assets is calculated. A disaster assessed map is generated by overlaying the time series information, calculated financial values, and calculated time and operational costs on a digital floorplan of the data center. One or more types of impact assessment devices are assigned to each hazard segment at different time periods to rescue and recover financially valuable and operationally viable assets.

Abstract: An approach is provided for determining a carbon footprint-based consumption of cloud resources. Cloud resource requirements and a carbon footprint cap of a workload of a cloud consumer are received. The requirements and cap are based on a sustainability target, published by the cloud consumer, and subscribed by cloud service providers. A list of cloud resources that satisfy the requirements are sent. Carbon emission values of the cloud resources at different load levels of the workload are sent. Based on a service level agreement requirement, a criticality level, and a peak load duration of the workload, and previous success rates of satisfying cloud resource requirements by cloud service providers, an optimized configuration of cloud resource(s) and cloud service provider(s) is selected. The cloud resource(s) are selected from the list and have a carbon footprint that does not exceed the cap at a given load level.
