Abstract:
A liquid discharge head includes a flow channel member, a pressurization part, a plurality of discharge holes, a flexible substrate, a cover member, and a heater. The flow channel member includes a first surface and a second surface that is positioned on an opposite side of the first surface. The pressurization part is positioned on the first surface. The plurality of discharge holes are positioned on the second surface. For the flexible substrate, a one-end part thereof that is positioned on the pressurization part is electrically connected to the pressurization part. The cover member covers the one-end part of the flexible substrate. The heater is positioned on the cover member.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes an optical scanning device and one or more second driving motors. The optical scanning device includes a polygon mirror, an optical scanning system for forming an image of the beam light on a surface to be scanned, a folding mirror for returning the beam light so as to be led to a photosensitive drum, and a housing. The housing is provided with a first support portion, a second support portion, and a third support portion for supporting the reflective surface of the folding mirror. When a distance between the first support portion and the second support portion is set to L, the third support portion is disposed at the first support portion side from a position of L/4 in a direction of the second support portion from the first support portion and is disposed at the second support portion side from the first support portion.
Abstract:
A head unit includes a common passage, at least one recording head, and a joint mechanism. The joint mechanism has a first valve and couples the common passage to the recording head. The first valve includes: a first stopper having a switch member with an insertion hole and an engagement boss projecting from its inner surface, a sliding portion inserted in the insertion hole slidably up and down, and an engagement groove engaged with the engagement boss; and a first sealing member fitted on the first stopper to be in contact with or away from the insertion hole's inner surface. Rotating the switch member to move the first stopper up/down causes the first valve to switch between a closed state, with the first sealing member in contact with the insertion hole's inner surface, and an open state, with the first sealing member away from the insertion hole's inner surface.
Abstract:
A head assembly includes a base member, a recording head, a first coupling member, a second coupling member, a first rotating shaft member, and a first angle adjustment mechanism. The first coupling member couples a first end of the recording heads to the base member. The second coupling member couples a second end of the recording head to the base member. The first rotating shaft member functions as a rotating shaft of the recording head. The first angle adjustment rotates the recording head about the first rotating shaft member as a rotation center. The first rotating shaft member is provided for the first coupling member. The first angle adjustment mechanism is provided for the second coupling member.
Abstract:
A head unit includes a recording head, a pipe member, and an ink supply section. The recording head ejects an ink. The pipe member supplies the ink to the recording head. The ink supply section supplies the ink to the pipe member. The ink supply section includes a flow channel in which the ink flows toward one end of the pipe member. The ink supply section includes a heating member located beside the flow channel.
Abstract:
An optical scanner includes a housing, a polygon mirror accommodated within the housing and configured to reflect light of a light source, a lens accommodated within the housing and arranged on an optical path of the light reflected by the polygon mirror, and a cover member. The cover member is mounted to the housing and is provided with an opening formed so as to expose at least a portion of the lens. The opening is closed by a seal member which is attached to a portion of the lens exposed from the opening and an outer wall surface of the cover member existing around the opening.

Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes a housing heater, recording heads, a head heater, a head temperature sensor and a controller. The housing heater heats an inside of a housing. The recording heads are stored in the housing and provided for colors of ink. The head heater is provided for each of the recording heads and heats the ink stored in each of the recording heads. The head temperature sensor detects a temperature of each of the recording heads. The controller drives the housing heater until a temperature of the ink estimated based on a detection result of the head temperature sensor reaches a printing permission temperature, and controls a driving of the head heater so as to maintain the printing permission temperature after the temperature of the ink reaches the printing permission temperature.
