Provided is an image forming apparatus that converts a manuscript into an electronic file except for a blank page. A blank paper elimination processing part reads a manuscript, determines whether or not a blank paper for each page, and converts the manuscript into an electronic file except for a blank paper determining page determined to be a blank paper. An insertion page receiving part receives designation of the page inserted in the electronic file when there is restoration instruction for the blank paper determining page. Blank paper restoration processing part, when the page received by the insertion page receiving part is the blank paper determining page, as corresponded to the page number of the manuscript of the received page, the manuscript of the received page is converted into electronic file form and inserts between the pages of the electronic file.

Provided is an image forming apparatus that reflects setup information according to an intention of a user. The image forming apparatus is operational from each of a mobile terminal and an operation panel. Accordingly, the image forming apparatus has an operation determination processing part. The operation determination part, when the start key in the operation panel is pressed, determines to reflect either of setup information of the mobile terminal or setup information of an operation panel.

The division range setting unit divides and sets the detection range of the touch sensor into a plurality of ranges. The controller decides whether or not a changeover condition has been satisfied during display of the setting screen, and in a case where the call button is operated for a second time during the display of the setting screen, on condition that the changeover condition has been satisfied, the controller executes a process corresponding to a status of use of the operation display part during a period lasting from execution of the default process until the second-time operation of the call button.

If the operability of the terminal device (9) is higher than that of the operation panel part (6), the CPU (10) displays a terminal device utilization screen on a display panel (61) (S4).
