Abstract: A developer container of a developing device has a toner collection portion having a collection container, a toner receiving member, a stopping member, and a toner collection passage. The collection container is arranged under a developing roller, extends along the axial direction of the rotary shaft of the developing roller, and has an opening open upward to face the developing roller. The toner receiving member is supported on the collection container, and has a swing portion protruding inward from an inner surface of the collection container and receiving toner that falls from the developing roller. The stopping member is supported on the collection container, and prevents, by the swing portion making contact with the stopping member from below, the swing portion from being displaced upward. The toner collection passage is arranged in a bottom part of the collection container, and communicates with the interior of the developer container.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus main body part and a sheet feed unit installed below the apparatus main body part, which include connector parts electrically connecting the apparatus main body part and sheet feed unit. The connector part at a side of the apparatus main body part includes a window; a first connector main body visible through the window and having an electrical connection port facing to the sheet feed unit; a connector cover covering openably/closably the electrical connection port of the first connector main body; and a biasing member biasing the first connector main body downwardly. The connector part at a side of the sheet feed unit includes a second connector main body positioned below the first connector main body. The first connector main body is pressured downwardly with respect to the connector cover by the biasing member, when the connector cover is closed.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a stacking tray, a control unit, an alignment member and a supporting mechanism. The control unit performs a rotational sorting. An alignment member includes a leading end wall coming into contact with a leading edge of a portrait sheet stack, a pair of first side walls coming into contact with both side edges of the portrait sheet stack and a leading edge of a landscape sheet stack, and a pair of second side walls coming into contact with both side edges of the landscape sheet stack and aligning the portrait sheet stack and the landscape sheet stack. The supporting mechanism supports the alignment member so as to be movable in an alignment position where the alignment member protrudes from an upper face of the stacking tray and in a retracting position where the alignment member retracts from the upper face of the stacking tray.

Abstract: A shield structure for an electronic apparatus includes a frame member and a shield box. The frame member is a conductive frame to which the wiring substrate is attached and covering a back surface of the wiring substrate. The shield box is formed on a front surface of the wiring substrate having an electronic component mounted thereon, to cover an area of a portion of the front surface. The wiring substrate includes a plurality of connecting portions formed thereon that ground the front surface and the back surface to the frame member. On a side on which the wiring substrate protrudes from the shield box, the shield box includes a shield wall member forming a wall surface substantially perpendicular to the wiring substrate.
