摘要: A shield can for an electronic eyewear device is described that reduces RF signals emanating from the electronic eyewear device. The shield can is attached to a ground plate of the electronic eyewear device using leaf springs on a side of the shield can. The leaf springs do not add to the stack-up thickness of the shield can assembly and provide a balanced force against the ground plate. The shield can is attached to a printed circuit board and encompasses radio frequency (RF) electronic components to prevent RF signals emanating from the RF electronic components. The leaf springs have a pair of fingers providing the balanced mechanical point force. A conductive pressure sensitive adhesive is also provided to secure a top surface of the shield can to the ground plate along with a thermal paste.

摘要: An electrically- and thermally-conductive gasket includes a planar base and a series of fingers bent out of the plane of the base. The base and the fingers are flexible, allowing the base and the fingers to engage respective matching surfaces on opposite sides of the gasket. The base and the fingers may be parts of a single piece of material, such as a thin metal sheet. The fingers make contact with a surface on one side of the gasket. The fingers may deform separately, allowing good contact to be made even when there is unevenness (non-uniformity) in the surface that they make contact with, or to compensate for the non-uniformity such as non-flatness. Similarly, the base may deform to make good contact with the surface on the side of the gasket opposite the fingers.

摘要: According to various aspects, exemplary embodiments are disclosed of board level shields. In an exemplary embodiment, a board level shield (BLS) includes a fence and a lid. The fence is solderable to a printed circuit board (PCB). When the lid is engaged to the fence that has been soldered to the PCB, the BLS provides substantial electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding protection to the components covered by the BLS. The lid may be constructed of a frame and a cover. The cover may be a film or foil. The lid may attach to the fence via a one way directional latching mechanism, which may be enhanced by the use of one or more interior downward tabs on the lid that meet one or more inward protrusions from the fence to create pressure on the lid and fence.

摘要: An in-vehicle power conversion system, which can shield a circuit unit without using a particular shield member and can achieve reduction in cost and size, is obtained. Included are: a conductive housing having an opening; and a multilayer printed wiring board in which circuit units are mounted and one layer is a GND plane. The multilayer printed wiring board is assembled to an opening surface of an opening of the conductive housing to form a closed space; and the GND plane of the multilayer printed wiring board is electrically connected to the conductive housing to shield the circuit units stored in the closed space surrounded by the conductive housing and the multilayer printed wiring board.

A DC-DC converter according to the present invention includes a transformer, a high voltage-side switching circuit section, a low voltage-side switching circuit section, a noise filter circuit section electrically disposed between the low voltage-side switching circuit section and the low voltage-side circuit section, a metallic case that houses the transformer, the high voltage-side switching circuit section, the low voltage-side switching circuit section, and the noise filter circuit section, a drive circuit board having a drive circuit that drives the low voltage-side switching circuit section, and a metallic base board having the drive circuit board mounted thereon. The case has a metallic partition wall connected to the case. The partition wall is disposed between the low voltage-side switching circuit section and the noise filter circuit section. The partition wall is connected to the base board.

摘要: A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) controller may include a housing and a printed circuit board (PCB) situated within the housing. The PCB may include a battery seat region and electrical terminals for electrically connecting a battery to the PCB when the battery is positioned at the battery seat region. The housing may include an opening that may be configured to receive the battery. The battery seat region may be at least partially offset relative to the opening in the housing, but accessible via the opening. The housing may be configured to allow the battery to be inserted into the opening and then moved laterally to the battery seat region, where the battery may be at least partially covered and/or protected by the housing when at the battery seat region. In some cases, the battery may be inserted within the housing without adjusting any part of the housing.
