摘要： A tool holder comprising an elongated connector means having a first end and a second end, where the elongated connector means has a central longitudinal hole, of a cross-section corresponding to a cross-section of a mounting portion of the tool bit, at the first end, and a tool mount at the second end, and a first sleeve arranged to reciprocally slide over the connector means between a first end position and a second end position, the first sleeve having a third end facing the tool bit and a fourth end facing the hand tool. The connector means has a substantially cylindrical tubular first collar arranged on the connector means adjacent the first end, the first collar having an inner diameter which is cooperating with an outside diameter of the connector means, to allow the first collar to rotate on the connector means, the first collar further having a first recess to hold a first locking ball, and a second recess and a third recess arranged on an outer surface of the connector means adjacent the first end, the first locking ball being movable between the second recess and the third recess by rotation of the first collar, and the first locking ball being held in the first recess during rotation of the first collar, so that the first locking all is seatable into either of the second or third recesses, the first collar further having a fourth recess for holding a substantially cylindrical pin, which pin rotates together with the first collar, a part of the pin reaching out into a slot arranged in the connecting means, the slot and the pin being located so that, when the first locking ball is seated in the second recess, the pin is at one extreme of the slot, and when the first locking ball is seated in the third recess, the pin is located at the other extreme. Retention of the tool bit is enabled by offsetting the hex opening in the first collar to engage the slot in the bit.

摘要： A chuck is provided for retaining the shank of a tool bit or accessory, having a fixed diameter, inserted in a central channel at a distal end of the chuck. At least one torsion spring is mounted axially within a housing and has an inner dimension and shape comparable to the shank's outer dimension and shape. A mechanism winds and unwinds the torsion spring to respectively grip or release said shank, the winding being in a rotational direction consistent with a normal operating rotational direction of said chuck such that said shank tends to further wind the torsion spring for further self-tightening in normal operation.

The first sleeve has an inwards facing annular ridge arranged at the fourth end of the first sleeve, so that the annular ridge is seated in the first circumferential groove when the sleeve is in the first end position, and the annular ridge is seated in the second circumferential groove when the sleeve is in the second end position.

摘要： A drill bit for boring non-linear holes in a workpiece, the drill bit having a generally elongate post, for mounting the drill bit to a tool; a generally elongate shank; and a head. The head has a front portion, a rear portion and there between a main body portion. A plurality of flutes are arranged in a generally helical shape along the main body portion, arched with respect to a longitudinal direction of the drill bit, each flute having an outer cutting edge arranged on an outside edge of the flute, to provide cutting capability in a direction substantially sideways compared to the longitudinal direction of the drill bit. A central point, arranged on the front portion of the head, is connected to at least one flute via a tapered first cutting portion, the first cutting portion being provided with a first cutting edge, to provide cutting capability in a direction substantially forwards. A forward facing roughing part is arranged on at least one flute and on the front portion of the head, the roughing part having a roughing edge, to provide further cutting capability in a direction substantially forwards. The rear portion of the head is connected to at least one flute via a tapered second cutting portion, the second cutting portion being provided with a second cutting edge, to provide cutting capability in a direction substantially rearwards.

摘要： In the invention, a hexagonal lid is pivotably connected to a generally flat body. A number of conventional hex keys of different sizes are secured within a plurality of plastic retaining members molded to the body such that both ends of the hex keys project out of the lid through notches in opposing sides of the lid to allow the consumer to touch the hex keys. The long ends of the hex keys project downwardly out of the lid generally parallel to the side edge of the body, and the short ends of the hex keys project out of the lid onto the top portion of the body parallel to the top edge of the body. Unauthorized removal of the hex keys at the point of sale is prevented by a block secured to the top portion of the body by a clip which penetrates a slit defined in the body. After purchasing the hex keys and the holder, the consumer can remove the block, insert hex keys into the block through preferably circular channels defined therein, and clip the block onto his/her belt or pocket to carry the hex keys to the job site or other destination.

摘要： The case for drill bits or the like provides automatic rotation a holder to an access position on opening the cover, without any linkage to the cover. The rotation may be by virtue of a molded or mechanical spring or other biasing means, such as springiness of a living hinge, for example. Each holder provides multiple holes into or through which drill bits or the like are inserted. The action of closing the cover moves the holders from their access position into a storage position, by contacting one or more of the holders, or one or more of the drill bits. The case can be a one-piece molded construction, or an assembly of various components, e.g. base, cover, holders, and removable stop walls. A locking bar may be provided to prevent removal of drill bits of the type having a recess in their shanks, and the locking bar may be movable between a locked and unlocked position, for example by closing or opening of the cover.

The trap may be combined with the appearance and/or function of another appliance, such as an air freshener. The release of semiochemicals may be combined with the release of air freshening compositions. The bed bug trap may provide one attraction mode, or two attraction modes, namely one which uses heat, carbon dioxide and/or kairomones to attract bed bugs seeking a meal, and the other which uses pheromones to attract bed bugs seeking a safe harbor, i.e. a hiding place. The bed bug trap may be combined with a wide variety of appliances, such as air fresheners, alarm clocks, clock radios, humidifiers, desk or table lamps, power bars, etc.
