摘要： A copper barrier type, nuclear fuel cladding is produced by forming an oxide layer on the inner wall surface of a tube of zirconium or zirconium alloy and then applying electroless copper plating to the oxide layer with a solution containing at least a copper salt, a complexing agent, a reducing agent, and 2,2'-dipyridyl, or further together with polyalkylene glycol as a plating solution. A good adhesiveness is obtained between the copper barrier layer and the oxide layer.

摘要： A controlling member (a controlling pin 10) is inserted through an insertion hole 7 of a mold 1 and projected into a cavity 6. After a pipe P as an insert member is arranged at a predetermined position in the cavity 6, the pipe P is held in the cavity 6 by inserting a tip of the controlling pin 10 into a hole h of the pipe P at the end p1, or by inserting the end p1 of the pipe P into a cave 21 of the controlling member. A molten aluminum alloy is then poured through a gate 5 into the cavity 6 under such the condition, to enclose the pipe P with the aluminum alloy. Dislocation of the pipe P caused by kinetic and thermal energies of the poured aluminum alloy is suppressed by the controlling pin 10 or block 20 at the end p1. Since the enclosed pipe P has its end p1 opened at a predetermined position, a cast product obtained in this way can be used as a brake caliper or the like having an inner hydraulic circuit.

The ramp includes at least two guiding parts individually formed for each suspension arm and made of a polymeric material having a small friction coefficient for guiding the suspension arm by sliding into a accommodation zone, and a guide supporting member made of a material having a thermal expansion coefficient smaller than that of the polymeric material of the guiding part for supporting each guiding part at a predetermined position. The guide supporting member has guide support holes which are located in zones to be contacted with the associated guiding parts, are not contacted with associated recording disks, and are engaged with the associated guiding parts at such positions that distances to the front end edges of the guiding parts become shortest. Each of the guiding parts has a projection. When the projection is engaged in the associated guide support hole, the guiding part guides the suspension arm at a suitable position.

摘要： To provide a lid body for a disposer apparatus which can keep inside of the disposer apparatus clean with ease. A washing-agent-reception portion is provided on a side of a rear surface of the lid body and at an inside of the body portion. The washing-agent-reception portion receives a washing agent package. When changing over drive of the disposer apparatus to a crushing operation for crushing garbage, water supply into the inside of the hopper starts concurrently with the crushing of the garbage by the crushing unit. Water to be supplied is supplied to the inside of the hopper through the lid body as a pathway thereof. At this time, the water passing through the lid body is supplied to the inside of the hopper as washing liquid with it dissolving washing agent. When driving the crushing unit, washing of the inside of the hopper is executed by the washing liquid concurrently with the crushing operation, which keeps the inside of the hopper clean.

摘要： A thermal head for a thermal-transfer or heat-sensitive printer has a silicon substrate having a projection. A porous silicon layer having a small thermal conductivity is formed on the silicon substrate so as to cover at least the projection on the silicon substrate. A heat-generating resistor layer is formed on the porous silicon oxide layer in a region above the projection of the silicon substrate. A conductor layer is formed on the heat-generating layer so as to expose the portion of the heat-generating resistor layer which is right above the projection of the silicon substrate and which serves as a heat-generating portion. The heat-generating portion and the conductor layer are covered by a protective layer.
