摘要： In one non-limiting aspect thereof this invention provides a structure having a generally planar quadrilateral shape that includes a bottom portion defining a mounting section; a vertical wall portion that extends upwards from the bottom portion and a top-most portion having a generally triangular shape in cross-section and forming along widest portion thereof a lip having a lower surface. The lower surface has a generally rectangular shape characterized by a concave cut-out along a middle portion of an outer edge for reducing an amount of force that is required to be applied to the top-most portion to bend the top-most portion about a central axis thereof.

摘要： An end user work space mounting system for use with a computer cabinet. The end user work space may include a computer terminal or shelf, drawer or platform. The height of the workspace is adjustable in the vertical direction. In the case of a computer terminal, the viewing angle of the monitor, i.e., with respect to rack and the keyboard, is also adjustable. The keyboard, monitor, and bracket fold into the same plane, so that the keyboard, monitor, and bracket can fold into the rack when not in use.

摘要： An air moving device assembly in a computer system has an air moving device such as a fan or blower within a housing for moving air from an air inlet to an air outlet. A mesh with a plurality of openings covers the air outlet. A back flow damper assembly is positioned over the air outlet. The back flow damper assembly further comprises at least one damper door movable in an open position and a closed position. The damper door has at least one tooth such that when the damper door is in the closed position, the tooth interacts with at least one of the plurality of openings in the mesh. By periodically cycling the air moving device controlled by device management software, the teeth will close and open, loosening debris from the mesh, allowing the debris to be blown out the rear of the housing once the device is turned back on.

摘要： The invention concerns methods and apparatus for generating and controlling a slider control for simultaneously changing values of two variables. In the methods and apparatus of the invention a graph having two axes is displayed, wherein the axes correspond to first and second variables. The values of the first and second variables may be simultaneously adjusted using a slider control displayed in a two-dimensional region between the axes. As a user adjusts the slider control and changes values associated with the two variables, the methods of the present invention calculate the effects of the adjustment on a value of a third variable. A graphical component is then used to depict the updated value of the third variable. Additionally, curves corresponding to constant values, or ranges of values, of the third variable are displayed in the two-dimensional region to assist a user in selecting values for the first and second variables.

摘要： A low profile cam latch assembly is provided for use installation and removal of associated components into a rack or chassis. An elongated cam arm and a mating retainer are fixedly mounted to an associated component. The elongated cam arm includes a pivot mounted trigger member releasably engaged with the mating retainer to retain or lock the cam arm in a closed position. The elongated cam arm includes a recessed hook shape defined together with an outwardly extending finger grip with the cam are rotated out in an open position. The finger hook shape and finger grip are arranged for engagement by a thumb or finger of a user for removal of the associated component.
