摘要:
The present invention aims at providing a non-woven fabric having high-density regions and low-density regions dispersed horizontally, so as not to prevent liquid transfer from a surface sheet to an absorbent body and not to diffuse a liquid less during transfer, a manufacturing method thereof, and a disposable diaper made therefrom. The non-woven fabric 5 includes a plurality of high-density regions 11 and a plurality of low-density regions 12 dispersedly formed in a planar direction thereof. The high-density regions 11 are formed dominantly on at least one side of the non-woven fabric 5, and the low-density regions 12 are formed communicating both sides thereof.

The invention provides a nonwoven fabric having good fluid drawing properties, in which fluid hardly remains, a method for producing a nonwoven fabric, and an absorbent article. The nonwoven fabric has a thickness direction and a planar direction perpendicular to the thickness direction, and includes a high density region having a higher fiber density than an average fiber density. The high density region penetrates from one side to another side in the thickness direction.

The present invention provides an absorbent body containing absorbent fibers in which fiber orientation is mainly adjusted, and fiber basis weight and shape are additionally adjusted. The absorbent body 110 of the present invention is an absorbent body containing absorbent fibers, a plurality of low fiber basis weight regions formed continuously in the first direction with a fiber basis weight that is less than an average fiber basis weight of the absorbent body 110, and a plurality of high fiber basis weight regions, formed along and on both sides of the low fiber basis weight regions in relation to the second direction perpendicular to the first direction, with a fiber basis weight that is greater than the average fiber basis weight of the absorbent body 110. The content of longitudinally oriented fibers in the fibers 101 making up the high fiber basis weight regions is greater than that of laterally oriented fibers, and the content of longitudinally oriented fibers in the fibers 101 making up the low fiber basis weight regions is greater than that of laterally oriented fibers.

A nonwoven fabric that is not easily damaged during use is provided. A fiber web supported by a predetermined supporting member from the lower face side is blown with fluid, mainly composed of gas, from the upper face side of the fiber web to move fibers that constitute the fiber web, thereby forming at least a plurality of open areas. The nonwoven fabric includes a plurality of open areas continuously formed along a predetermined direction with a predetermined interval and a plurality of joining portions, each of which are formed between the open areas adjacent to each other in a predetermined direction.

Short fibers of thermoplastic synthetic resin are fusion bonded to one another to form a nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric is formed on its upper surface with crests and troughs extending in parallel to one another. The crests include first crests having a uniform height dimension from a lower surface of the nonwoven fabric and second crests having a uniform height dimension from a lower surface of the nonwoven fabric which is smaller than the height dimension of the first crests. Density of the nonwoven fabric gradually increases in the order of the first crests, the second crests and the troughs. The first crests are formed so that the density of the first crests remains lower than the density of the second crests even when the first crests are compressed toward the lower surface until the first crests becomes flush with the level of the second crests.

It is an objective of the present invention to provide a nonwoven fabric prepared so as to be able to rapidly transfer a predefined liquid. The nonwoven fabric is formed by jetting a fluid, which consists mainly of gaseous matter, to a fiber web 100 supported from beneath by a predefined breathable support member, from an upper surface side in order to move fibers in the fiber web 100. A number of groove portions 1 and a number of convex portions 2 are formed on a jetted area of the nonwoven fabric in the direction in which the area is extended, and the fiber density of the groove portions 1 is less than the fiber density of the convex portions 2.
