摘要： An ejection mechanism for a recording and/or reproducing apparatus by which a recording medium cartridge is to be improved in tractability and reliability in the recording medium cartridge ejecting operation and to lower a production cost. The ejection mechanism includes an insertion/ejection opening for insertion/ejection of a disc cartridge with respect to a main body portion of a recording and/or reproducing apparatus, a lid provided for opening/closing the insertion/ejection opening and a slide operating member for ejecting the disc cartridge from the insertion/ejection opening. The lid is provided with an actuating member for actuating the slide operating member in a lid opening operation relative to the insertion/ejection opening.

摘要： A recording and/or reproducing apparatus includes a base member at least having a rotation driving mechanism for rotationally driving a disc housed in a disc cartridge, a holder into which is inserted the disc cartridge and an ejection lever formed by an elastically flexible lever. The holder is mounted for movement between a first position in which the disc inserted in the disc cartridge is loaded on the rotation driving mechanism and a second position in which the disc housed in the disc cartridge is spaced apart from the rotation driving mechanism. The second position is higher in level than the first position. The ejection lever is elastically flexed by the disc cartridge inserted into the holder from a position protruded into the holder to the position extending along the back side of the holder. When elastically flexed to the position extending along the back surface of the holder, the ejection lever is engaged with the holder moved to the first position. When the holder is moved from the first position to the second position, the ejection lever is disengaged from the holder and is elastically restored in the direction of being intruded into the holder to eject the disc cartridge from the holder.

摘要： A recording and/or playback apparatus using a disc cartridge that accommodates a disc-shaped recording medium has an apparatus main body, a loading mechanism, a lock mechanism, and a lid body. The apparatus main body has a recording and/or playback section for performing recording and/or playback on a disc that is accommodated in the disc cartridge, and an opening portion through which the disc cartridge is to be inserted into and ejected from the apparatus main body. The loading mechanism mounts the disc accommodated in the disc cartridge that has been inserted through the opening portion on the recording and/or playback section, and ejects, through the opening portion, the disc that is mounted on the recording and/or playback section and accommodated in the disc cartridge. The lid body, which opens or closes the opening portion, is rotatably provided on the apparatus main body. The lock mechanism locks the lid body at a position for closing the opening portion. Specifically, the lock mechanism locks the lid body at the position for closing the opening portion in a state that the disc accommodated in the disc cartridge has been mounted on the recording and/or playback section by the loading mechanism. When the disc cartridge is ejected through the opening portion, the lid body is turned in a direction of opening the opening portion by the disc cartridge being ejection-operated by the loading mechanism, and then moved further in the direction of opening the opening portion by the lock mechanism.

A leaf spring has a first end and a second end opposite to the first end, and the leaf spring supporting the magnetic head at the first end, the leaf spring having a surface facing the magnetic medium. A mount member holds the leaf spring, the leaf spring being mounted to the mount member at the second end. A supporting portion extends from the mount member, and engages the surface of the leaf spring at a position between the magnetic head and the mount member.
