    摘要: A connector is provided for a small diameter pipe that has been formed to include an annular swelled part near the end of the pipe. The connector includes a body with a communication hole extending axially therethrough. A chamber extends axially into one end and joins the communication hole. A window is formed through portions of the connector body defining the chamber, and a pawl extends across the window. The pawl includes a central portion that projects into the chamber. The pawl is configured to engage the annular swelled part of the pipe for holding the pipe in the connector body. The connector further includes a releasing member rotatably mounted around the connector body in proximity to the pawl. Outer circumferential portions of the releasing member define a cam wall configured such that rotation of the releasing member into a selected rotational orientation will deflect the pawl outwardly to enable release of the pipe.

    摘要: A connecting structure of an externally resin-coated small-diameter metallic pipe having an excellent corrosion-resistant property with respect to a mating member is provided. According to the present invention, a resin-uncovered portion of the metallic pipe provided for applying an end processing thereon is completely covered with a protective pipe made of a resin material so that the processed pipe can be connected with the mating member without spoiling its anti-chipping property and an anti-splashing property of the metallic pipe over the entire length thereof. With the exception of the end of the metallic pipe corresponding to the margin at least required for applying an end processing on the pipe, the pipe is covered with an extrusion-moldable thick film-like resin and is connected with a mating member by means of a clamp nut assembled to the pipe end so as to be screw-fitted with the mating member. The connecting structure according to this invention features that one end of a resin pipe is fitted about the above-described resin coated layer on the metallic pipe while the other end of the resin pipe is inserted into, or fitted about, the clamp nut and the resin pipe is fixed to the clamp nut at least at a single portion thereof.

A joint process for jointing a small-diameter thin metal tube and a pressure rubber hose, comprising: the step of fitting or press-fitting a short inner tube in a metal tube in the vicinity of a joint end portion thereby to form a double wall; the step of plastic-working the vicinity of the joint end portion over the double wall radially inward from the outside to form a plurality of annular comb-tooth faces at least at the side of the metal tube thereby to form a joint portion; the step of retaining the bottom wall portion of a bottomed cylindrical socket member fitted on the pressure rubber hose at the joint portion, at the portion at the back of the comb-tooth faces; and the step of caulking and fixing the overlapping portions.

    摘要: There are provided a connection structure and process for connecting an eye-joint and a slender metal pipe, which is enabled by making the welding operation completely unnecessary to eliminate the working troubles and a fear of cracking or breakage, as might otherwise be caused by deteriorations in the mechanical properties in the vicinity of the connection end portion, which can use the eye-joint body and the metal pipe, as plated with a corrosion-resistance substance or coated with a resin in advance, to improve the productivity drastically thereby to ensure the connection with neither axial nor circumferential movement, and which can connect a metal pipe, if necessary, as having a diameter larger than the width of the eye-joint body. The connection structure comprises: an eye-joint body having an annular groove in its head and two side through holes leading to the annular groove to form parallel flat seat surfaces on the outer circumferences of the through holes, and including a branch pipe protruded integrally from the eye-joint body and having a stepped fitting hole formed in the circumferential side and leading to the annular groove; and a slender metal pipe adapted to have its connection end portion fitted in the fitting hole of the branch pipe of the eye-joint body. An elastic seal ring member is fitted either in the inner circumference of the fitting hole or on the outer circumference of the connection end portion of the metal pipe. The vicinity of the end portion of the branch pipe is caulked together with the connection end portion, after the connection end portion is inserted into the branch pipe, thereby to effect the connection.

    摘要: A small-diameter resin tube connecting structure used as a small-diameter tube connector is provided. The connector comprises: a main body including therein a small-diameter chamber continuous with a communication hole defined by the connecting cylindrical wall at the top end of the main body and a large-diameter chamber formed behind the small-diameter chamber; and a socket having repulsive walls each in the form of a pawl wall and formed integral with, or separately from, the outer periphery of the connector main body whereby the repulsive walls of the socket are brought into engagement with an annular bulged wall of the target resin tube. Further, a thin-wall metallic tube having an annular bulged wall is inserted into at least the connecting end of the resin tube with the metallic tube serving as a reinforcing member for the resin tube. The resin tube may have the annular bulged wall together with the metallic tube by press-working the inserted metallic tube in the axial direction. The connector of the present invention can securely maintain the connection of the target small-diameter tube with the connector for a prolonged period of time, increase the resistance against the draw-out force and manufacture easily and in a simple manner without enlarging the size thereof.

    摘要: A connecting joint for connection to a plastic tube comprising: a main body having proximal and distal ends with a flow passage and chamber between the ends in communication with each other. An engaging wall extends inwardly at the distal end defining a small diameter entry into the chamber, a support provided with a guard wall and resilient arms extending from the guard wall with projection walls on the terminal ends of the resilient arms having outwardly extending inclined surfaces and inwardly extending pawl walls is located in the chamber and a collar is secured in the chamber by the engaging walls. When the tube is inserted into the chamber, one of the guard wall, an annular friction ring or a seal located in the chamber engages the tube and as the tube is withdrawn the member engaging the tube moves the outwardly extending inclined surfaces into engagement with the collar thereby urging the pawls into engagement with the tube. A releasing component is include which releases the pawl walls from engagement with the tube.

    摘要: An improved method of making a cross joint between different size pipes is provided. A punch, die and a pressing machine are prepared. The punch includes a center rest for receiving a small pipe, a curved slot and a curved surface for transforming an end of the small pipe. Under the actuation of the pressing machine, the end of the small pipe is transformed into an arcuate configuration which is identical with the inside curvature of a large pipe. Simultaneously, a curved bead is formed on the small pipe remaining circumferentially equal distances from the resultant arcuate edge of the small pipe. This distance is substantially the same as the wall thickness of the large pipe. Utilizing the arcuate edge and the curved bead, the small pipe and the large pipe are welded or brazed together, resulting in a cross joint having no protrusion into the large pipe space.
