A pharmaceutical composition for renal disorder and a dialysis solution for extracorporeal hemodialysis which comprise a phosphoric acid diester of the following formula: ##STR1## (wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof.Since the composition of this invention inhibits the formation of free radicals in the body, it can be advantageously used for the prophylaxis and treatment of various renal disorders such as glomerulonephritis, acute renal failure, uremia, adriamycin nephrosis, puromycin nephrosis, gentamicin- and cisplatin-induced disorders of the kidney, renal impairment due to paraquat and other agricultural chemicals, and immune complex nephritis. Moreover, the composition of this invention is also of use as a dialysis solution for extracorporeal hemodialysis with the propylactic/therapeutic effect on dialysis amyloidosis.

The present invention uses site diversity reception and RAKE combining reception for the method for a CDMA communication mobile terminal to carry out a cell search to search for a base station with which to communicate. Even if the reception power levels of synchronization acquisition signals sent from a plurality of base stations are lower than a predetermined threshold, in the case where the power level of a signal combining those signals is equal to or greater than the predetermined threshold, the mobile terminal continues processing of requesting position registration to any one of the plurality of base stations and thereby improves communicability.

A wavefront aberration compensating apparatus includes: a deformable mirror which compensates a wavefront aberration of a light flux entered, the deformable mirror including a plurality of electrodes, and a thin-film mirror which changes a configuration thereof in accordance with a voltage value applied to each of the electrodes; an optical system provided with the deformable mirror, and including an object subjected to aberration compensation; a wavefront sensor which receives the light flux traveled through the object and the deformable mirror, and which measures the wavefront aberration of the light flux; and a controller configured to calculate the voltage value applied to each of the electrodes, on the basis of differences, from a signal outputted from the wavefront sensor, between application points on the thin-film mirror and target points both corresponding to the electrodes, respectively, and to repeat compensation of the configuration of the thin-film mirror of the deformable mirror on the basis of the calculated voltage value, such that the wavefront aberration of the light flux measured by the wavefront sensor is suppressed.

A two-pack hair treatment composition comprising a first lotion containing a reducing substance (a) and a cationic polymer (b) and a second lotion containing an anionic surfactant or amphoteric surfactant (c) and a lubricant (d), wherein the first lotion is applied to the hair first and then the second lotion is applied thereto. The process of the present invention for treating the hair with the above-described two-pack hair treatment composition comprises treating the hair with the first lotion, leaving the hair to stand for a predetermined period of time and, if necessary, subjecting it to intermediate rinsing, applying the second lotion to the hair, leaving the hair stand again for a predetermined period of time, and finally rinsing the hair.
