    摘要: An optical disc production apparatus for producing a disc substrate with one or two signal layers including: a first signal layer forming mechanism for forming a first signal layer on a disc substrate (hereinafter, substrate); a layer forming mechanism which selectively forms a first reflection layer on the first signal layer and forms a second reflection layer on a second signal layer; a second signal layer forming mechanism which forms the second signal layer on the substrate on which the first reflection layer is formed on the first signal layer; a light transmission layer forming mechanism which forms a light transmission layer on the first/second reflection layer; a first transportation mechanism in a loop shape which is arranged close to each of the above-described constitutional element; a second transportation mechanism which is arranged closed to the first transportation mechanism, and which transports the substrate on which the first/second reflection layer is formed on the first signal layer to the light transmission layer forming mechanism; a first transfer mechanism which transfers the substrate on which the first signal layer is formed to the first transportation mechanism; a second transfer mechanism that selectively transfers the substrate transported by the first transportation mechanism on which the first/second reflection layer is formed on the first signal layer to the second transportation mechanism; and a third transfer mechanism that transfers the substrate transported by the first transportation mechanism on which the first reflection layer is formed on the first signal layer to the second signal layer forming mechanism, and that transfers the substrate on which the second signal layer is formed at the second signal layer forming apparatus to the first transportation mechanism.

To achieve the object above, an optical information recording medium 100 of the present invention includes at least one information recording layer 103 on a main surface of a substrate 101 and a light-transmitting layer 106. In the light-transmitting layer 106, the average thickness of a second area 106b corresponding to the clamp area 105 is thinner than the average thickness of a first area 106a corresponding to the information recording area 104.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing an optical information recording medium that has a substrate having a signal recording layer formed on one principal surface thereof; and an optically transparent layer formed on the signal recording layer and made from a radiation cure type resin. According to the method, when the optically transparent layer is formed, the radiation cure type resin is supplied onto the substrate, and the radiation cure type resin is applied over the substrate by spinning the substrate at a predetermined number of application revolutions in a spin coating method. The number of revolutions of the substrate is increased after the application of the resin, and radiation is irradiated to cure the radiation cure type resin while the number of revolutions of the substrate is increased.

    摘要: An optical disk is manufactured by bonding a resin stamper having, on a principal plane, asperity pits on which a thin film is formed and a second substrate having a thickness of 0.3 mm or less with radiation cured resin such that the asperity pits face to the second substrate. The resin stamper is peeled off after curing the radiation cured resin to form asperity pits on the second substrate. A metal film is formed on the asperity pits on the second substrate to attain an information recording layer on the second substrate. A first substrate having an information recording layer and the second substrate having the formed information recording layer are bonded such that the both information recording layers face each other.

The recording medium includes a signal substrate (100), a signal recording layer (110), and a transparent cover layer (125) having a first transparent layer (115) and a second transparent layer (120), which is harder than the first transparent layer (115). Signals can be recorded and reproduced to and from the recording medium by a light transmitted to the signal recording layer through the transparent cover layer (125). The first transparent layer is formed so as to have a first predetermined distribution of thickness. The second transparent layer is formed so as to have a second predetermined distribution of thickness to make the total thickness of the transparent cover layer (125) uniform. The first transparent layer (115) may be made of a plurality of thin laminated transparent layers.
