摘要： An electrophotographic apparatus is provided with a developing device accommodating a plurality of developer tanks and a system for preventing erroneous mounting of these developer tanks. The developer tanks contain respective developers different in color from each other and are detachably mounted in respective predetermined mounting portions of the developing device. The system includes a connector formed on each of the developer tanks, a fixed connector formed on each of the mounting portions of the developing device and a controller for outputting at least one discrimination signal and judging whether or not the discrimination signal is inputted into the controller through at least one set of connectors. The connectors in each set are electrically connected with each other when each developer tank is properly mounted in its predetermined mounting portion of the developing device.

摘要： An image forming apparatus stores an ID number input through an auditor in a memory section when a paper money judging section judges that image data obtained from an image reading section is the image data of paper money. With this structure, the fact that an attempt to perform counterfeiting was made is known by reading out the ID number stored in the memory section. In this case, since it is understood that a counterfeiter knew a specific ID number, the counterfeiter can be detected from a limited number of people. It is thus possible to take some measures to prevent recurrence of counterfeiting by, for example, enhancing the inspection of the image forming apparatus and giving a warning to the counterfeiter.

摘要： A digital image forming apparatus includes a CCD optical unit and an information editing section. The CCD optical unit inputs image information to an image control unit (ICU) upon an instruction to start image formation input through an operation panel. The information editing section inputs the image information to the ICU upon an instruction to start image formation input by a keyboard. The ICU stores the image information input from the information editing section page by page depending on an image processing mode specified through the operation panel and the keyboard, and successively performs image processing on the stored image information page by gage. With this arrangement, various image editing functions of a digital copying machine is effectively used for image information input from the information editing section.
