The reading heads are mounted in a plane offset from the plane of the recording heads and have azimuthal angles that match the azimuthal angles of the recording heads. A mixing circuit mixes a component of the video signal ready from the magnetic tape by one of the recording heads with a video signal from a video signal source to generate a mixed video signal. The mixed video signal is returned to one of the recording heads for recordation on the magnetic tape.

The first phase shift information detection unit detects first phase shift information of the received data corresponding to the data processing of the received data processing unit. The second phase shift information detection unit shifts the phase of the received data so as to detect second phase shift information of the received data corresponding to the data processing of the data processing unit. The apparatus corrects the phase shift of the received data by comparing output signals from the first and second phase shift detection units.

The recess portion 21 is symmetrical about a central axis of the diaphragm portion 20. A tip end of the pressure transmitting member 7 is brought into contact with the recess portion 21 at a central point. A tapered portion 2d of the diaphragm 20 has a thickness of t.sub.3 which is not larger than the thickness t.sub.1 of an outer peripheral portion 2b or t.sub.2 of a central bottom portion 2c. Furthermore, a heat insulating plate can be provided on the diaphragm to protect the surface A of the diaphragm portion from heat radiation of high-temperature fluid.
