摘要： A support structure for a pedal of a vehicle pivotablly supports a pedal assembly (34) to a pedal bracket (38) mounted on a vehicle dash panel (6). The support structure for a pedal of a vehicle includes a reinforce member (14) for the vehicle body; an upper pedal member (44, 46); a lower pedal member (48) having a pedal (48c) at its lower end; an abutting member (50) not coming into contact with the reinforce member when the vehicle is in a normal operation, while it abuts against the reinforce member at its abutting portion (50g) by moving in the rearward direction of the vehicle body when the vehicle crashes; and a connecting mechanism (60) for connecting the abutting member to the lower pedal member in such a manner that relative movement with respect to each other is prevented when the vehicle is in a normal operation, while the connecting mechanism forcibly displaces the lower portion (48b) of the lower pedal member, which is the part locating below the pivot shaft of the lower pedal member, in a forward direction with respect to the upper pedal member when the vehicle crashes.

摘要： A support structure for a pedal of a vehicle pivotablly supports a pedal assembly (34) to a pedal bracket (38) mounted on a vehicle dash panel (6). The support structure for a pedal of a vehicle includes a reinforce member (14) for the vehicle body; an upper pedal member (44, 46); a lower pedal member (48) having a pedal (48c) at its lower end; an abutting member (50) not coming into contact with the reinforce member when the vehicle is in a normal operation, while it abuts against the reinforce member at its abutting portion (50g) by moving in the rearward direction of the vehicle body when the vehicle crashes; and a connecting mechanism (60) for connecting the abutting member to the lower pedal member in such a manner that relative movement with respect to each other is prevented when the vehicle is in a normal operation, while the connecting mechanism forcibly displaces the lower portion (48b) of the lower pedal member, which is the part locating below the pivot shaft of the lower pedal member, in a forward direction with respect to the upper pedal member when the vehicle crashes.

摘要： A fuse box having a housing formed with a first, second, and third openings therein. A screw-fastened type fuse having two terminals is inserted into the housing through the second opening. Conductors connected to the fuse are directed to external circuits through the first opening. The third openings oppose the terminals of the fuse inserted and have guide grooves. Each of the terminals is connected together with the conductors to the housing by means of a bolt inserted through the third opening. A cover is attached to the second opening after the terminals of fuse are securely connected to the housing together with the conductors. The cover is formed with a lid continuously integral with the cover and the lid is accepted and guided by the guide grooves to close the third opening when the cover is assembled to the housing.

摘要： A shield connector wherein maintenance thereof such as replacement of terminals can be performed readily and admission of water is prevented. The shield connector comprises a tubular outer housing made of an insulating resin material, a tubular metal shell inserted in the outer housing and having a semi-annular contacting portion formed thereon, an inner housing made of an insulating resin material and inserted in the metal shell, a plurality of terminals removably accommodated in the inner housing and connected to a shield cable, a rear shell removably fitted in the metal shell and having a semi-annular contacting portion formed thereon, an annular cap made of an insulating resin material for removably holding therein the semi-annular contacting portions of the metal shell and the rear shell with a shield portion of the shield cable inserted between the semi-annular contacting portions, and a rear cover made of a synthetic resin material and removably fitted with a rear end portion of the outer housing. The shield cable extends through the rear cover.
