    摘要: A disc cartridge having a disc-shaped recording medium, such as an optical disc or a magneto-optical disc, rotatably housed within a main cartridge body. The disc cartridge has a main cartridge body made up of an upper cartridge half and a lower cartridge half, and a disc-shaped recording medium rotatably accommodated within the main cartridge body. A recording and/or reproducing aperture is formed in at least one of major surfaces of the main cartridge body. A shutter is mounted for movement along a sidewall section of the main cartridge body between a position closing the aperture and a position closing the aperture. There is provided an inclined portion in the aperture inclined with respect to the inserting direction of the disc cartridge.

    摘要: A video signal recording apparatus for recording a video signal on a magnetic tape includes an oscillator which generates an oscillation signal; a variable frequency divider for frequency dividing the oscillation signal; a control circuit for controlling the frequency-dividing ratio of the variable frequency divider in accordance with the speed of advancement of the magnetic tape during the recording operation; a frequency divider for generating a plurality of synchronizing signals in response to the output of the variable frequency divider; a camera including an image transducer from which the video signal is obtained in correspondence to incident light from an object image projected on the image transducer, and a transmission device for transmitting the signal from the image transducer at a rate determined by the synchronizing signals; and a recording section including a processing circuit for separately processing the luminance and chrominance components of the transmitted video signal, and at least one transducer for recording the processed video signal on the magnetic tape in response to the synchronizing signals, wherein the video signal is always recorded on the magnetic tape in the same format regardless of the speed of advancement of the magnetic tape during the recording operation.

    摘要: A tape cassette has a plurality of spaced apart, elongated bearing surface portions elevated relative to an internal surface of a cassette case and on which a reel lock member is adapted to slide. Accordingly, the sliding movement of the reel lock member is prevented from being hindered by a burr generated at the periphery of a hole formed through the internal surface or by a burr-like projection generated at the periphery of an indentation formed by contact of an ejector pin with the internal surface upon molding of the cassette case. As a result, the locking and unlocking operations of the reel lock member with respect to a tape reel can be reliably effected.
